This message is in response to the answer Fame RV sent the Revdex.com, regarding my complaint ID#[redacted]. We are contesting the response from said business.  At this point it has become a "He said, She said" complaint. This entire incident could have been avoided, had the business called us to reschedule the appt. that the business had scheduled for us. We called to schedule an appt., to have our 2017 camper inspected and winterized. Fame RV scheduled time and date to have such work completed. My husband and I are both senior citizens, and disabled. We hooked up our camper, and drove 55 miles to Fame RV.Upon arrival, we were informed they did not have their inspection license due to a recent move. We asked why we were not informed of this and rescheduled an appt. when they could do the work. We were told they did not have our phone number. We had bought 2 brand new campers from this business, a very expensive cover for camper, numerous items, as well as an extended warranty that was $2000.00. Ed said to either bring the camper back {which was not an option for us as it was such a hardship}, or to leave the camper and the inspection would be for free. NEVER, NEVER, EVER did he, or anyone else apologize for them dropping the ball. They treated us, as it was our fault, and we only did what the business told us to do. They acted arrogant and were rude to both my husband and me. As far as Ed saying  we left other repairs to be done, we had a $2000.00 warranty we paid for. the bracket to hold down sink was broken off, and a curtain bracket was broken--that was it--no major repairs. He is exaggerating in his answer. They had our camper for THREE weeks. I even called Brenda the manager. She was not rude, but when our experience was explained to her, she said Ed had it all straitened out.WHERE WAS an apology??? We were charged for the inspection sticker, $10.00 to attach the curtain bracket, and $100.00  for the insurance deductible we knew nothing about. This deductible was our ignorance, but still a shock. Our biggest complaint and main reason for sending this to the Revdex.com., was how rudely, disrespectfully, matter-of-factly and unfairly we were treated. All we expect is for this company to accept responsibility for the way they treated us. We actually expected at least an apology. We asked for 10%, to hold them accountable, but this would have been less than an average tip--it was not about the money, only about this company dropping the ball and not owning up to treating us badly. All we expected was to be treated as they would have wanted to be treated. They were unprofessional and cast us off to the curb. As far as their answer that they had to hook up our camper when we came to pick it up---this is nonsense and a silly excuse. This lot has hundreds of campers, many identical to ours. We had no idea where they had our camper parked, and my husband was ready and willing to hook it up. This shows how unprofessional they are, that they must make up such silly responses because they know they are at fault and treated us so disrespectfully. Lastly, yes, when this all happened, I asked them to bring us our camper when they were finally done. Ed answered if someone was coming this way they would do so. In his response, he stated he could not deliver in that time frame.----TIME FRAME????? what time frame they could have delivered it anytime--they kept it for almost a month. This was another exaggeration of the truth.  Two years ago, we sent several customers to Fame. Now when we are at a campground, and we are asked where we got our camper, our answer will be totally different. Word of mouth is a great way to either extend business or to hurt business. Our latest experience was not good. This company did not take responsibility for dropping the ball and treating us bad---all they have is silly excuses.

Revdex.com 11-8-17ID# [redacted]Hello Revdex.com we Fame RV Center, just recently moved our location 1 mile north of our old location. This was a very large move after being in the same location for 49 years. The customer made the appointment to winterize and inspection. In the process of moving...

we had to change our PA Safety Inspection License in which it was held up for a week. She showed up for the appointment, and my service manager told her we could not do the inspection because we were on hold from the state. She was told she could leave the trailer here and we would inspection as soon as we could at no charge. At this time she also added other repairs that needed done. As far as leaving her registration, that’s a rule with any inspection station for cars, trailers etc.We summited the sink warranty through the manufacture and it was denied because it was expired. Then she informed us she had an extended warranty. We looked it up and it was approved through them however she was required to the $100.00 deductible. If she looks at her contract it states the $100 deductible. If they are unhappy with the extended warranty they can cancel at any time and get a portion back. The curtain bracket was not covered. We thought $ 10.00 was fair. She asked if we could deliver to her home which is about 55 miles away and Ed said if we had anything that way we would see. Ed called her back and said we could not deliver within that time frame. Again, we told her we were very short staffed due to just moving our business. She said okay I'll come pick it up. When she came to pick up her unit we completely hooked it up for her, this is not something we usually do but she asked and we said no problem. We apologized several times for her troubles. As far as 10% off we already inspected it for free.We will be celebrating our 50th anniversary in 2018, if you look in your file we have very little complaints. We truly try to take care of all our customers.Any questions please feel free to give me a call.Brenda B[redacted]-President [redacted]
