I am writing on behalf of my husband as a customer at Toyota of Midland My husband did extensive research on the type of vehicle he wanted to purchase He selected the Chevrolet truck Of course, anytime a customer goes to purchase anything, especially a vehicle, he does so in good faith that he will receive his purchase in good quality and good standing This was certainly not the case with Toyota of Midland My husband was assured that the truck was in good working order and there were no issues Well, that was not the case at all Of course, I know all that the salesmen want to do is make a sale, and in this case, at any costThe issue was found with the wiring harness before the deal was finalizedThere were extensive issues to be found with the wiring harness in the engine and my husband took the vehicle back to be repaired efficiently as any customer wouldToyota of Midland stated they would replace the harness Well, I do not know what repaired meant to the mechanica

Before you buy a used, certified pre-owned vehicle from Toyota of Midland be aware of what you maybe getting yourself into, as certified is the least of their concernI would say that they do not even look at their pre-owned vehicles, rather, that they turn them out as fast as they receive themSince purchasing my "certified" pre-owned vehicle, an oil change was done first week of purchase (oil was well burned, and low), within months of purchase truck was running hot (only had to add a gallon of antifreeze), and most recent was having trouble with transmission slippingUpon taking to Toyota, they wanted to replace a heater hose ($later) and found nothing to be wrong with transmission, however a second opinion at another dealer found that it was 1/quarts low of transmission fluidSo my point is, yes one has to maintain their vehicle , this is no surprise; however I would think that if a vehicle has been checked and cleared of any problem, the very least of what would have been done is all fluids to be checked and filled before saleI am still waiting a call from the GM, of which I'm sure I will never receiveThis is how your business and your concerns will be handled, so bewareMy first experience with purchase and my very last for sure!

I signed a vehicle purchase agreement with Toyota of Midland (sales contact: [redacted] sales manager: [redacted] ***) I then proceeded to book a flight and hotel for the pickup of the vehicle on Saturday, June Toyota of Midland collected a $down payment on my credit cardAll of this happened on Monday, June On Tuesday I booked a shipment spot for the vehicle to be shipped to Hawaii The expenses for travel, hotel and shipment are roughly $ On Thursday, June Cory Hawes called me to let me know that the car was sold to a third party and that Toyota of Midland could no longer sell the car to me I am now out of the expenses mentioned without any attempt of Toyota of Midland to rectify the situation Moreover, they still have a $charge against my credit card for the down payment

When we decided to look for a vehicle I didn't take it lightly and did as much research on dealerships as possibleWhen I chose to go to Toyota of midland one of the reasons I did so was because of their website and the claim that they do detailed inspections and their cars will run reliably for years We had an amazing salesman, but after a week of having the vehicle we are already having issues Now I realize I made the mistake of trusting a dealership that I thought would be reliable and trustworthyWe purchased the vehicle as is because unfortunately with two kids and the current state of the economy and the cost of living, anything that was certified pre-owned or had a warranty was far out of our budget's reachHowever, I felt like this company was reliableI thought that they would be a company where customer satisfaction was importantUnfortunately for us, that is not the case I spoke to a manager and said I understood the vehicle was purchased as is, but you s
