This company tried selling me a car with a Salvage Title, without disclosingI had to purchase my own Carfax, then they said they had no idea it had a Salvaged TitleThe title says "Salvage" right on it! Rude...Liars...Scammers....deceitful!

Would definitely recommendWas very truthful about my gas was turned off on heating unit by the last company that did my air conditioning maintenance in the springSince there was a reasonable service call fee, technician looked over unit as well as thermostat to make sure everything was working correctly

November 11, 2014Dear [redacted] ***. I have received your letter dated November 7, 2014 concerning a complaint against my business. The customer in question had also filled a complaint with the West Virginia Attorney General I have attached a copy of my response outlining the events... that had taken place. In the complaint he filled with your agency he indicated that the truck started to "act up" the next day and that he had been fighting with my business ever since. He never made me aware of any problems with the truck for several weeks after the purchase, not the next day. The only problem he ever advised me of was the starter. As I stated in my letter to the West Virginia Attorney General I offered to assist in fixing the starter even though it is not covered under the limited warranty, a copy of the Buyers Guide outlining the warranty is attached. Although I am sorry that he experienced problems with the starter I offered to assist in the repairs. When a vehicle is nineteen years old with 183,000 miles on it there are items that begin to Wear Out. The purchased price of the truck was $2,200. The additional $249. was for his tax, title and tags that money was sent to West Virginia Motor Vehicle Administration. Please feel free to let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns. Thank you, Julia J

After only one month and spending more than $to fix my year old Amana Heating and Air Unit the heating part of the system failed again I was told by the company which had done the original repairs that the failure was caused by a different problem and would cost at least an additional $dollars to fix I was also advised that I could buy a new unit from them for $ Before making a final decision I wisely decided to get quotes or evaluations from three other companies The first two decided that it wasn't worth evaluating the old unit and just gave me a quote for a new one
The last quote was the lowest and was from Bond Heating and Air However, before installing, *** *** did an evaluation of my old unit to see if it was worth fixing He found that the new pressure switch which had recently been installed was a generic one and was the reason for the "new" problem Once this pressure switch was replaced with the original factory pressure switch the problem was solved and the unit started working again
Instead of spending $on a new Trane unit, *** *** only charged me $for a one hour evaluation, which completely fixed the problem since the newly installed pressure switch was still under warranty Obviously, he took a substantial financial loss by recommending that the old unit be repaired instead of replacing it This shows that in addition to honesty, he possesses the character trait of integrity as well

Bond Heating & Air provided me a better than expected experience I sent a fguy of my own who provided me an evaluation of what I needed at this rental property My fguy couldn't take care of the issue When I called Bond, I was surprised that before I gave all the facts, *** already knew what was causing my situation *** went out to fix my issue and contacted me a few times to let me know what he found and then what we could do I went with a temporary fix because I'm considering my options *** was well spoken and professional He got me set up and my costs were under $for everything he did They have a customer for life! Thanks everyone at Bond I wanted to post this information for you if you're looking at Revdex.com and hiring a trust worthy company I'm not affiliated with the company in any way

The reason they wanted a refund is her husband came in my office and said I am to big for this truck. There was no complaint about any problems for this car. They did after a couple of weeks complaint of check eng light which the problem was fixed. They want the refund and keep driving the truck...

until the title comes back. There was no air bag light on and we will fix it. If they want their money back it will less sales tax which they did not pay yet and one month of payments.

Dear [redacted] did purchase a 2002 [redacted] from my dealership on 05/16/2014. The purchased price was $4995. She put $1200 down on the vehicle and finance the remaining balance with an agreement to pay $50.00 per week. When she purchased the...

vehicle it had 108,687miles on it.After having the vehicle for nine days she returned it. I asked her if there where problems with it because she did have a limited warrantee. She advised me that there were no problems with the vehicle. She said it just used to much gas and that her mothers {mothers vehicle was not purchased from me} [redacted] did the same thing.
When the vehicle was returned to me the odometer read 109587. In nine days she drove 900 miles. I accepted the car back from her and refunded $400 within the week. I retained $800 as compensation for using the vehicle and placing so many miles on it. I don't feel my business should have to refund all of the money considering she used the car so much. I am in business to sell cars not lend them out for free.
Attached is a copy of the contract [redacted] signed.
Thank you,Julia J

Review: My fiancé and I went to Family Auto Sales on Friday (May 16th 2014) and put $1,200 down on a [redacted]. It had 108,700 miles on it when purchased.

After a week, we decided we did not want the vehicle because it was almost harder on gas then our truck was. My fiancé only makes minimum wage, so we needed a car more gas efficient. We had decided we did not like the car anymore and brought it back. When we took it back on Saturday (May 24th 2014) the mileage was at 109,500. The woman in charge wrote down the mileage that it had on it and proceeded to tell us that we wouldn't get the whole down payment back. The vehicle was returned before 1,000 miles were used and before 30 days was up. The woman told us to come back on Tuesday (May 27th 2014) so she could discuss it with her husband or something along those lines. When we arrived on that day she was not there. We continued to wait for an additional 2 hours, and no one showed up. We left a note stating that we had been there and waited for 2 hours. We also wrote down our phone numbers. We continue to call her and drive by, and she has yet to be there. It seems as if she is avoiding us & our phone calls. Because of this delay in receiving our refund, we do not have transportation anywhere.Desired Settlement: The vehicle was still under warranty, so we would like our $1,200 refunded.

Review: I purchased a vehicle from Family Auto Sales, and about two weeks after owning the vehicle, it started acting up. Starter went bad, and started to have a very bad miss. I have since replaced the starter, at my cost, with no honoring of the warranty we both agreed too. They claim "we only cover motor, transmission and rear", however, their warranty reads as this (as listed on the paperwork they gave me)

"WARRANTY INFO: Vehicle sold with a 30 day 1,000 mile 50/50 warranty part and labor. All warranty work to be done at Family Auto Sales Repair Facility. Extended warranty available upon request at an additional cost."

Nowhere in their warranty statement do they say what is covered, which would leave a normally sane person to believe that EVERYTHING on the vehicle is covered, for that time period. I am now left with a truck that I have had to put far too much money into, to still run extremely bad. It DID run great on the test drive, but started acting up the next day, and I have been fighting with them ever since. I was not informed of a 3 day return policy, and feel that I have been slighted, and cheated out of my hard earned money.Desired Settlement: I would like a complete, and full refund of any cash that I have given Family Auto Sales and in return, I will sign over the title to the vehicle to them, and they can deal with this vehicle, as they should have in the beginning. The total amount that I have given them is $2,200 + $249.00 for a grand total of $2,449.00. For a business to rip off a consumer is absolutely irresponsible, greedy, and selfish.
