On May 4th, 2020, I purchased Vitafusion Gummy Vitamins from Family Dollar Store No. 10660 located in Christmas, FL. On May 5th, 2020, I noticed the vitamins had melted into a gummy gook and attempted to return the product for an exchange. Assistant Store Manager Skyler D stated that due to the Coronavirus, Family Dollar will not accept refunds or exchanges. I explained that the product was damaged and could not be consumed. Mr. D reiterated the new corporate policy of refusing exchanges or refunds regardless if the product is damaged. I believe Family Dollar is hiding behind the Coronavirus Pandemic in order to not provide refunds or exchanges for the sale of damaged goods.

Exchange The Family Dollar Store should stop using the Coronavirus Pandemic as an excuse to refuse the refund or exchange of a damaged product sold to a consumer.
