noted on a work order dated 7/29/15.  The leaking due to ice dams were caused by severe weather patterns causing the majority of the houses in our area to leak.  On 2/12/15 we came out to your home to remove your ice dams.  It has been determined that there is no further issues with your roof, and the most recent leaking was due to your siding.  If any issues arise in the future, we would be more than happy to accommodate you in any way we can.  Please note that we have stood behind our work 100% and made every attempt to rectify any problems that you have encountered.  I have attached pictures of the completed work of the siding to fix the leaking you experienced in July.

I'm taking a minute here to express my total satisfaction with the job the JP Carroll employees did in the reproofing of my residence here in West Hartford. From start to finish, Larry, crew chief Gabriel, and his right hand man Luis, as well as the entire roofing crew assigned to my property were courteous, professional, and especially attentive to the particulars of my house and property. With several different roof pitches and styles in the design of my roof I was worried that the character of the house would be lost in a see of new shingles, or it would look like every other house on the block. with me over the selection of te right style and color of my property, and I'm very pleased with my final selection of the [redacted] line, and the color of Appalachian Sky With the fragile state of my existing over 40 year old roof, the crew was extremely careful in removing the crumbling mess, and made sure each night my property was cleaned up and in the best condition possible. They also stored their equipment in an orderly fashion out of the way in the back yard The attention Gabriel showed on particular areas of the roof with respect to previous issues with wind driven rain penetrating the old roof, he made sure the roof decking was sound took special care and regard to installing the ice and water barriers to make sure the new roof would outperform the previous, especially on the gambrel areas of my roof which have had ice dam issues in the past. He also trimmed up the roof line making a sharp clean line of the new roof that the former had lacked. I was not expecting such attention to detail from a roofing crew and I wish to make my appreciation to my crew known to you as owner and their employer. They are all gold medal winners in my book. Gabriel would keep me informed of the progress or any issues that they encountered and resolved daily most often during my noon time or end of day visits so I never felt out of the loop in the progress of the job remember when writing such a large check made me feel so good, safe and secure that the money was well spent, and that the quality of the product installed was top importantly to me is the integrity of those who sold, and installed it. JP Carroll has gone above and beyond today's standards.. I'm proud of my new roof and how it improved the curb appeal of my home, and stand by as a reference for future home owners looking to have J.P Carroll install a roof on their property

This company was very pleasant to deal with The Customer service was fast and friendly. We scheduled a date for them to come to re-roof my house and they came and got it done in just a couple of days. They cleaned up nicely at the end of each day, and protected my wife's garden. Very painless!! The work was very high quality, and went above and beyond my expectations. The workers are professional and courteous. Reasonably priced for the quality work that they do. Highly recommended.

We are THRILLED with JP Carroll's roof replacement on our home in [redacted], CT!
Estimation Process- Estimate was requested and received within 24-48 hours of request. Of the 3 estimates we received, it was the mid-point on price, but included the best materials and warranty terms. The JP Carroll Team was highly responsive throughout the process with any questions or add-ons we wanted.
Installation Process- This crew worked hard! They completed the roof over 4 days the first week of Sept. There were some very hot/humid days, but they never slowed down. Typical the crew arrived by 8:00 and ended their day by 4:30 with only a brief lunch break. They were professional in their dealings with me and respectful to our home and kids. Each day they cleaned up their work and checked for nails to ensure kids wouldn't step on a stray. And at the end of the process, they cleaned out all gutters too of any debris. I can't say enough about how impressed I was with their work!
The Roof- I chose GAF's Timberline HD series in Appalachian Sky (part of the Harvest Collection). It gave me a "basket weave" look in a black and brown palette that is still very classic. I am thrilled with the look of the roof!! Given that the roof has only been on for a few days, the integrity will need to be proven over time; but the installation process gives us great confidence it will be fine.

I would fully recommend JP Carroll Construction to anyone who is looking to replace their roof in Connecticut. I did not take the task of finding a company to handle my roofing needs lightly and did the majority of my due diligence by researching companies online and asking residents in my neighborhood/ town for references. JP Carroll was the favorite for my business at this point in time based on that research but I ended up choosing 3 companies to come out to my house and put together price estimates. This is where my mind was made up as they not only had the lowest overall cost but also the quickest timeline for completion.
Throughout the actual process of tearing out the old roof and installation of the new, all of the workers were very respectful of my family and I and made sure to leave the site spotless at the end of each day. I must admit I did some snooping on the workers from afar throughout the project to make sure they were staying on task and was very impressed at their work ethic and apparent lack of fatigue. It was clear that these guys a) knew what they were doing and b) understood that any breaks they took throughout the day would only delay the project and ultimately delay them from starting a new one. I'm not sure how long the crew had been working together but the efficiency and teamwork was truly eye-opening.
The project ended up being right on budget and completed a half day earlier than projected. The post installation process went just as well as the rest of the project as the site was left looking the same as it was before they arrived (just looking a lot better with the new roof!). There was quite a bit of debris that had collected in the attic and the crew made a point to remove every piece before they departed.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, JP Carroll Construction is simply THE BEST for roofing in the greater Hartford area. Family owned, family operated, and a company you can trust as a member of the Connecticut Roofing Contractors Association.

Review: I had a balance left of $401.00 including late fees and I paid that with a cashier's check. I was notified by the company that they took $250.00 out my payment for a repossession fee and I now owe them $269.00 for a car payment and he will hold my title until I pay it. I'm not understanding why I have to pay a repossession fee and I still have the car meaning it was never repossessed.Desired Settlement: However, if it is legal I will pay the money but I feel that he is cheating me. I want my title because the balance has been paid off. Please contact me informing on this matter. Thanks in advance.
