We hired a highly rated mover from the [redacted] site for our long distance move who damaged many of our belongings, were extremely unprofessional and damaged the property as well as the trailer we had borrowed. We did not know the extent of the damage until we open the trailer and saw very few of the many blankets we supplied were used and NONE of the tie downs we asked them to use were used to strap furniture down, causing a majority of the damage. Had we known, we would not have completed the payment. I was told by customer service to contact the mover via the resolution form on the website. We did and the mover refuses to pay for damages. I contacted customer service and was told there was nothing they can do. I'm not able to find anything on the mover so I have a feeling he was not licensed or bonded.Product_Or_Service: Moving helpDesired SettlementAt a minimum, I think I should be refunded although it will not replace items that can not be repaired or even cover repairs. It also does not cover the added trip we had to make back to the house (1400 miles roundtrip) to repair the damaged walls in the house.

The movers damaged my furniture very badly and then left early. [redacted] is a horrible company owner and did NOT take any responsibility.I have contacted [redacted] multiple times about the damages that were incurred to my property on July 8, 2015. He only spoke to me once, instructing me to email him the pictures of the damages. He told me he would call me back after he spoke with the men who broke my furniture to see about processing a refund. I emailed him the pictures and never heard back from him via phone, text, or email. I have tried calling, emailing, and leaving voicemails, but he rejects my calls and ignores my voicemails and emails. This is my original complaint:"The two movers that "helped" me were hired for two hours. I asked them to be very careful with my furniture because it is very heavy and very expensive. The men assured me that they would move the furniture quickly and efficiently. They rushed to finish in under an hour (even though I told them to take their time since I paid for two hours). These men dropped my furniture, broke my dresser and scratched LITERALLY every piece of furniture they moved. I have pictures. Some of my furniture was brand new (less than a week old and had never been used) and now it is covered in scratches and cracks. I'm very disappointed with the quality of this service. I paid $135 for two men to scratch all of my furniture and leave within the hour. After they were finished, they didn't show any concern or remorse for damaging my furniture, but instead they repeatedly asked for a "5 star review." Very frustrated and disappointed..."He responded to a claim I reported online by saying that I was trying to "scam" him. This makes absolutely NO SENSE. Company Manager: [redacted]Problem/Purchase Date: July 8 2015Job number: [redacted]Case Number: [redacted] On the website, it says the case is resolved, but it is NOT. I was not able to access the link that was provided to me in the email (it wouldn't work on either of my computers or my phone) until AFTER the case was marked "resolved."Desired SettlementI am asking for my money back and an apology for the disrespect I was shown for the mistakes [redacted]'s "moving company" made. He pretended to be helpful and nice on the phone but then he proceeded to lie and ignore me. He even accused ME of trying to scam HIM! This is not how customers should be treated, especially when I tried my best to be friendly and cordial despite my growing frustration.
