This complaint would seem to revolve around the issue of a former fitness center member failing to follow the cancellation procedures, which were fully disclosed and copy given to her at the time of signing her initial contract with Family Fitness We are a small, family owner and operated facility and contract with a billing company to provide these billing services It is standard policy, that if a member wishes to cancel a membership that notification be made by certified letter or signing a release, in person, at the facility She did not cancel her contract, but her credit card payment was cancelled thereby, causing the billing company to incur a separate charge for trying to bill the account All upset over this matter, it could have been avoided by a simple certified letter or an in-person signing of a request for release from contract Sincerely, [redacted] ***

I was having difficulties due to family things, and family fitness let me drop diwn my fitness plan to a more affordable rate, and pushed back my payments for when I would be more stableIm very grateful!

Talk me and my wife into year memberships because they were cheaper and said we could cancel them when we move at no cost Now they want us to pay 200$ and I refuse and they are sending it to collections
