On Oct31st, my husband and I purchased a car from Shaker Kia We were given a brochure from the sales person, Adam A*** indicating the "Shaker Family Ford Advantage" applied to our purchase This included many benefits, but in particular FREE oil changes for the life of the car, which I estimated at about $per oil change Upon our first visit to Kia for the oil change, my husband was told that only the first oil change was free Any additional oil changes are $with a "discount" of $40, for a price of $90, but it was so much more than an oil changethey would check the hoses, etc Its a BRAND NEW car Part of the reason we bought the car was the sales person TELLING us specifically that there were free oil changes!! We were only given the attached brochure, which clearly says "FREE" not discounted There are many other services listed, which I suspect are also NOT FREE

The WORST!!!! Went for a simple oil change and have had nothing but issues!! And mechanics blame us when they have had the truck!! First oil leak from THEM...then antifreeze leak because they broke a clamp - now headlights don't work and they STILL blame us when we have had a rental car - they had the truck!!! They were nasty and refused to resolve the issueThey are trying to take advantage of a young kid! Disgusting!!!

I called this dealership at 11am on Friday, Jan 20,about a used vehicleThey said the vehicle was available and I set up an appointment for 1pmI concluded my conversation with"If the vehicle is unavailable prior to me getting
there to call me, so as to not waste my time or travel expense as they were over miles away."
Upon arrival we see the vehicle,(appears to have been detailed)We speak with a salesman for about minutes
I then notice that the vehicle we are interested in is being shown by another salesman to someone elseWhen I approach him, he tells me he is not showing the vehicle but that this individial is picking it upI next speak with the sales manager who states they sold the vehicle early that morning So it was sold not prior to us getting there, but prior to my initial call setting up the appointment

I purchased a *** *** *** from Shaker's Kia of WatertownWhen they presented the car to me for the first time there were two very noticeable scratches on the back left bumper and upper a little moreThey had put in place a deal to fix it, as well as my other truck to get detailed for all of our troublesBut when the product was presented to us it was worse then before they touched it, both vehicles, they have had three changes to make it right and every time has made it worse and now wont fix the one vehicle and says they cant please us with the *** We have to get a different professional to fix it and we want them to pay for the damages

My family and I went to this dealership to gather information on their ***We were never shown a vehicle, were hustled inside before even looking at one carA strange way to do business, but this is not my complaintMy complaint is that even though I was assured over & over again that my credit would NOT be hard-checked (“it’s a soft check, no worries”), wouldn’t you know, they hard-checked my creditWeeks after going there, I received a letter in the mail which stated I was not approved for a loan (despite an over *** credit score)I wrote to the sales manager, with a link from the website, & got no responseI just can’t believe that a business can lie to a customer like that about a hard check on creditI’m very careful about that and felt betrayedI know it has hurt my credit scoreI told them I would report this & am doing soThank you for your time

Vehicle required extensive transmission work-not a "one day" repairPeriodic contacts were made
re:statusVehicle was inside for majority of time at dealer-only outside for two days while waiting on partsThe lot the vehicle was parked in for that time is well-lighted, and frequented by personnel all day and into the night every day but SundayThe lot is accessible to the public and is adjacent to our main facilityAt about 9:on a Monday morning we went to retrieve the vehicle to install received parts and finalize repairsThe tech noted the shattered driver's rear window glass and reported it to the Service ManagerIt appeared the glass may have been shattered by an errant rock or pebble thrown up by another vehicleIt had an approximately 4-inch hole in the center and the surrounding glass was cracked in a web patternThe SM assumed it had continued cracking after being struck due to the very cold temperatureThe SM examined the vehicle and did not note any distinct evidence of possible breattempt: i.e-personal articles were still in the vehicle that the customer had left; the front window was not broken; a plow controller was intact and in place on the left side of the dashSM did not notice slight damage to functioning driver's front door lock cylinderThe SM called a local glass company to have the glass replacedIt was never suggested that cold weather alone had caused the glass to shatterThe customer/owner was not called till that afternoon when he was informed of the broken glassThe customer/owner came to the dealer, spoke to a Service Advisor who then contacted the SMThe owner/customer asked the SM if the police had been contacted, and the SM answered, "No" and proceeded to explain whyThe SM said he would contact the police and made the call from his office (Case #***)The police should be able to confirm when and by whom the incident was reportedThe owner then pointed out to the SM the driver's front door lock, and told the SM that an expensive electronic surveying device was missing from the rear floor of the vehicle behind the drivver's seatWhen the police officer arrived the SM asked how frequently this piece of equipment was used, and was told "everyday"Both the SM and the police officer asked if a receipt for the missing piece of equipment could be provided(No reciept has been provided)The SM recommended the owner/customer contact his insurance company re: this piece of equipmentThe SM, as a gesture of goodwill only, offered to replace the door lock cylinder and window glass and advised the owner/customer that even this was not something we were obligated to doThe vehicle was repaired and released to the customer, who incurred no expense

It's been over a month the vehicle I purchased from them has been in the shop Let me clarify it is a used *** with only 40,miles and already needed a new transmissionI was recently in an accident, hit and run, had the body work done at their shop, on pick up the car wouldn't runThey insisted I send it to *** and withhold the fact I was hitAfter weeks they discovered a broken Axel, which they think is from the accidentThe best part is they are saying they need to take apart the transmission again to take the piece out and see "if" it is completely related to the accident but I must authorize the take apart, if it is not it will cost me $2,and for some reason they insist it is not covered under the warrantySo I'm out a car, still owe $12k on this car and had to pay for my rental this week because everyone has been busy pointing the finger at eachother that my rental with my insurance is upparties involved and no one is doing anything to help t

Back in 3/my husband went to check out a car he saw online that he liked at Shakers DealerWhen he got there he wanted to purchase the vehicle but he didn't have the credit etcMy husband and the rep called me to see if I would work as a cosigner on the carThe rep took some info down and we set up an appt for 3days later so that my husband and I could come in and fille out paperwork and that I could sign to do credit check etcThe day of appt came and I want able to go so my husband went in on his own and the rep was able to approve my husband on his own through different banks he checkedA few months ago I check my credit report and find that Kia Shaker had separate hard inquiries for the same day, inquiries that I never had approved of and had it been just one inquiry than I would not really be so upset but the fact that I have for the same day with no authorization and it has lowered my score by about 100pts infuriates meI called Kia Shaker 1/and spoke to manag
