On 5/4/20, I purchased 4 barstools from Family Furniture. They had to order the barstools but I paid in full on 5/4/20 ($1229.76). When the barstools came in, my husband picked them up and brought them to our vacation home in *** NC. The barstools did not match at all (2 different colors). My husband returned the 2 non-matching barstools and was told they would order 4 new ones. Several weeks went by and I heard nothing from the business. On 7/2/20, I contacted the business, they took my number and said they would call me back. After no return call, I contacted them again on 7/4/20 and was told they couldn't find my paper work where I paid for the stools. The associate that told me this said he was a delivery guy and didn't know. I received a call back later on 7/4/20 where I was told that they couldn't get 4 matching barstools and would fully refund my money.
It is almost 5 weeks later and I still have not received a refund or an email from the company where they submitted the refund towards my credit card. I've contacted them on multiple occasions with no success in getting a refund or a timeline for when I will get my $1229.76 back.

Refund As promised by business on 7/4/20, I would like a full refund of $1229.76.
We purchased from our supplier a complete new set of 4 stools for this customer based on the complaint about the finish on the original order. Due to customer not being able to wait for these to arrive we have refunded their money in full and contacted the customer with a copy of the refund receipt.
Many shipping delays and product shortages are effecting the furniture business at this time.
Unfortunate that it effected our customer but we believe this resolves this issue to their satisfaction
Interesting, the business never told me that they had ordered 4 new barstools, they simply said they couldn't get 4 matching stools.
Customer received a full refund
