To Whom It May Concern:I am [redacted] and I have been in Cosmetology for years and am the owner of Family Hair Salon in Manassas, VirginiaThe foundation of our business model at Family Hair Salon is providing the pinnacle of customer service to the diverse community of patrons we serveWe also strive at providing a wide array of services to our customers in an affordable and efficient mannerTherefore, receiving our only complaint ever from Revdex.com on behalf of [redacted] is troubling and concerningI will address the points of [redacted] 's statement as provided by Revdex.com that I received via U.SMail on June 8th, [redacted] visited my establishment on June 4th, and received a haircut from one of my stylists [redacted] appeared to be pleased with his haircut and provided a tip over and above the cost of the haircut for the services renderedThere was no discussion of a price discrepancy when payment was rendered by [redacted] The prices for a basic haircut increased at my establishment on April 1st, from $to $All pricing advertisements and the pricing chart within my establishment reflect accurate pricing and are always updated in the rare occurrence a price for service changes[redacted] returned to my establishment the same day in rare formHe was extremely angry and consistently stated his frustration with his haircut in a provoking mannerHe insulted one of my stylists indicating he should have his haircut because it resembles pubic hairHe made remarks and gestures that slighted the ethnic diversity of my stylists and were inappropriate and unprofessionalGrounded on the customer service principles we institute at Family Hair SalonI tried to diffuse the situation and requested that I would be willing to make any adjustments to his hair to his likingHe allowed me to style and cut his hair to his likingHowever, this still wasn't good enough for [redacted] [redacted] demanded an apology for having to come back to make adjustments to his haircut and adamantly request a refundI explained to him that I facilitated all his requests and would not be returning any funds as the service was rendered to his satisfactionHe became belligerent again and indicated that this would not be the last I would hear from him, almost in a threatening mannerHe then stated he would call the policeI responded, if you feel that is necessary to please do soTo illustrate the demeanor and Vulgarity of this individualI have captured his review of my business posted on Google.Revdex.com, my stylists and I provide products and services that have pleased customers and their families for yearsWe have patrons of all ages young and oldIt is with disgust that my staff and customers had to witness the behavior of [redacted] His behavior and belligerence would be unsuitable and not tolerated in any business environmentAlthough I strive to provide a customer experience that is above scale and unique styles to the very diverse group of patrons served, there is no reason for me or my staff to serve customers that are insulting or make the environment toxic for my clienteleAs the owner, I'm comfortable with the professionalism and services my staff have rendered to accommodate [redacted] Therefore, no apology or refund will be provided to himWe strive to be the model in providing customer service while remaining competitively priced in the products and services renderedThank you for allowing Family Hair Salon the opportunity to respond to this complaintIf you would like additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me at [redacted] or [redacted] .Sincerely, [redacted]

serve. We also strive at providing a wide array of services to our customers in an affordable and efficient manner. Therefore, receiving our only complaint ever from Revdex.com on behalf of [redacted] is troubling and concerning. I will address the points of [redacted]'s statement as provided by Revdex.com that I received via U.S. Mail on June 8th, 2017[redacted] visited my establishment on June 4th, 2017 and received a haircut from one of my stylists. [redacted] appeared to be pleased with his haircut and provided a tip over and above the cost of the haircut for the services rendered. There was no discussion of a price discrepancy when payment was rendered by [redacted]. The prices for a basic haircut increased at my establishment on April 1st, 2017 from $9.99 to $11.99. All pricing advertisements and the pricing chart within my establishment reflect accurate pricing and are always updated in the rare occurrence a price for service changes.[redacted] returned to my establishment the same day in rare form. He was extremely angry and consistently stated his frustration with his haircut in a provoking manner. He insulted one of my stylists indicating he should have his haircut because it resembles pubic hair. He made remarks and gestures that slighted the ethnic diversity of my stylists and were inappropriate and unprofessional. Grounded on the customer service principles we institute at Family Hair Salon. I tried to diffuse the situation and requested that I would be willing to make any adjustments to his hair to his liking. He allowed me to style and cut his hair to his liking. However, this still wasn't good enough for [redacted]. [redacted] demanded an apology for having to come back to make adjustments to his haircut and adamantly request a refund. I explained to him that I facilitated all his requests and would not be returning any funds as the service was rendered to his satisfaction. He became belligerent again and indicated that this would not be the last I would hear from him, almost in a threatening manner. He then stated he would call the police. I responded, if you feel that is necessary to please do so. To illustrate the demeanor and Vulgarity of this individual. I am rejecting this response because:
Please allow me to explain further. I would like to mention that I feel as if though [redacted] seems to be escaping the truth here. My reasoning for this report is that I feel I have been brutally mistreated and received poor quality service and therefor feel I deserve a refund for the service provided. Sunday, June 4th when I went back to this shop was because I was a repeat customer. [redacted] has cut my hair in the past 3-4+ times (roughly). It is no doubt to me that [redacted]’s haircut skills may be exceptional however her management skills lack expertise. I went on this day because I had an important appointment coming up the Next day Monday. I usually went in on weekdays. I went in my mind she would cut be cutting my hair for which I already had set aside $14 which included tip. I went in it was unusually busy and I was taken immediately by this man who cut my hair this day. Not sure why his seat was vacant despite the crowd in the shop. I didn’t realize he never spoke any English until he started talking to me in Spanish. I explained I speak English and the got another barber who’s seat was next to his to translate. He completed my cut a few hurdles of understanding due to lack of language barrier. Despite all in rush, I tipped him same amount I went in with and left the shop. [redacted] remained at shop but we had no interaction. Got home, noticed after shower hair cut not even. Hair longer at the center of head standing tall. Went back. Got there, [redacted] not there, all other barbers remained. I showed him hair, he asked to wait. While I was waiting, the men started laughing and speaking Spanish while looking and suddenly all crowd starting laughing and enjoying. Clearly my hair was still up and funny looking. Quietly dis-hearted. I waited. I asked a barber who appeared more respectful about the owners where about and said she was not there and is returning soon. Having gone through this I did not feel comfortable allowing these men to cut my hair again. I asked for a refund and this man laughed also and said “….what!!.”,  like I was crazy. I remained waiting patiently. Luckily I noticed a jeep pulled into the parking lot from which [redacted] got out. This latter barber rushed outside and they had a conversation. [redacted] came back in the shop with now concern on her face. She did glace over at me few times and she too had a look on her face as if Funny haircut. She smiled. She never asked me if I was okay or what was going on. I went up to her and explained. No apology. She said will not refund money no matter what. She pointed at another man and said he is owner and he said not to refund money. So confused I was because she told me in the past that she was the shop owner. I asked why she mentioned the hair cut was “fixable”.  I let her fix my hair. She mentioned it was not “eve”. While she said that the translator guy yelled “shave his hair off”. Going back to her statements. She mentioned I made a comment back also. Yes I never refused that. I made a comment back while all else failed and she this barber man continued to abuse me while [redacted] continued cutting my hair. I was standing up for myself. Which did stop the abuse. I did not have to take that from him. Long story short, [redacted]’s statement makes me seem as if I was the aggressor. She mentioned I was, “…extremely angry…in a provoking manner..” If I was provoking why no one stopped me or told me to leave. I was there for well over 30mins the second time. They could have asked me to leave or call the police. She is quick to judge me on the a comment I made and sad it was “..Insulted one of my stylists..” but she failed report the whole issue which led to his. Clear she is holding back the really story. It is clear [redacted] has no concern for her customers. She fails to realize that in a good practicing business who has been practicing for 10+ years plus knows the basic customer rights and has heard of “customer is always right”. Yet she refused to refund. Refuse to have them apologize. And states “…Grounded on the customer service principles we institute at Family Hair Salon..” which is a clear lie because if that was the case she would not house no staff members who insult customers. I feel that I that I was extremely patient and honest. And professional. And took all the right and necessary steps. Called the police and report this issue. Followed their instruction and leave online reviews. Not to mention when the police were called she and her “part owner” were outside laughing and enjoying the scene. Truly, a disgusting place of business practice. Please excuse any disrespect that may have come out of this explanation. I ask Revdex.com to take appreciate actions against this business and I believe that some of her staff may not even me licensed to cut hair not to mention can’t even understand customer’s language? My questions is that why are they there? This is not a all-Spanish shop. And if no one has come forward and reported this before that is not any of my concern but they will not treat me like this. Al I can do is ask for my right. If she is a honest and truly a good business owner she will refund my money for this disgusting behavior of the staff. The least she could of done was them apologize and or refund the money. But it appears she continues to take their side and makes me believe she is and hs been just as wrong with them all along. I want to thank the Revdex.com for arranging this interaction for me. If Business remains not cooperate please close to case or whatever it wishes best fit as I will continue to pass the word and leave more reviews online to raise awareness. Revdex.com has become aware of this business's mal-practice is enough.  And I am sure next time they decide to act out with another customer they will definitely think twice now.
