Review: Our Son [redacted]i stopped attending classes Feb. 23, 2013. Based on the contract my wife signed, there was a one month penalty fee clause when a student quit classes. My wife went to speak to our Son's Instructer ( Mr. [redacted]) in March to tell him [redacted] would not be able to attend more classes because of other commitments. She asked Mr. [redacted] if anything had to be sent in writiing and he told her that it was not neccessary. My wife believed that, Our son had been attending classes there for over two years. My wife had originally signed-up for automatic deductions from her credit card.She noticed the deduction from her account made in April 2013, by Family Karate and assumed this was the one penalty fee. Then she noticed another deduction in May. She had called Family Karate and was told they would look into this. There were additional deductions in June and two in July. On July 27, 2013 my wife and I brought copies of her bank statements to Family Karate to speak to Miss [redacted](owner), but she was not there. We did speak to Mr. [redacted]. We left copies of my wife's bank statements with him and asked him for his help to get $752 dollars refunded from the four deductions Family Karate is not entitled to. My wife asked Mr. [redacted] again if having something in writting was needed to correct the situation and he said no. The receptionist at desk, witnessed this conversation and became involved. Both said that there would be a meeting with Miss [redacted] on Tuesday July 30, 2013 and they would address this matter with her. We did not hear anything from Miss [redacted], so I called her on July 31, 2013. I was told by Miss [redacted] that Miss [redacted] was in a meeting and would return my call after that meeting. I have not recieved a call back as of today, August 1st, 2013.Desired Settlement: Refund our money A.S.A.P.

Review: My children have attended the school since 2011, no contract required!! Since than time to time I have noticed that not only is there billing company called EFC deducting tution from my debit Family karate centerr was as well ( double billing) I spoke with the school and many times they adjjusted it. However for the past 3 months they have been continuous billing me and my children have not atteneded since March 2014. Our " agreement" was terminated by the owners secreatry at the end of February. I have called both EFC and the karate school and each one points the finger at the other. This is a bad practice of business. It has got to the point where the owner of the school will not return my phone calls. This has happened to numerous students parents at the school. THIS IS NOT RIGHT!!Desired Settlement: I want to be refunded for my tution prices since March 2014 which would be a total of $873.00

I went down to the school yesterday and spoke to the owner and we did come to an agreement. I can say that this case is now resolved
