They left a total disaster behind!
They expect you to pay the FULL PRICE BEFORE they even put you on their schedule
We bought on a Friday and were told he would call us on Monday to schedule, and that they were three weeks outMonday afternoon, when he had not called, I called and was mockedThe guy talked down to me and laughed He told me, "he will call you, don't worryHe hasn't made his calls today yetIf he misses you he'll call you back.' Of course, Brian never called My husband called Tuesday and Wednesday and left msgs and was told Brian would call him back He never did Finally, my husband called again on Thursday and reached him He put us on the schedule which was then FOUR weeks out
The guys showed up as scheduled, but brought the wrong equipment for the poolFamily Leisure called us and said they could order the right stuff and it would be another week, or they could upgrade us and get it done that dayWhich would you pick? We did too!
They destroyed our front and back yard, and, hit our gate and tore it right off the hinges and splintered the wood at the bottomI did not want to report them because I believe they were totally over worked and exhausted They left every bit of the trash, which include huge boxes
We as customers, are expected to "backfill" the pool, after it is filled with waterI had NO IDEA what we were in forThe salesman told us there would be left over sand that we would use for the back fillHe did not mention the mountain of dirt around the pool that would be left behindWell, now I knowThere is no way a customer should be expected to do this after paying for the pool to be INSTALLED! Yes, they protect themselves by having you sign a paper with reminders like, get the sand before they come and don't have the electrician come until after they build the pool The very last reminder is that any dirt/sand left over stays As our salesman went over these details, this is when he told us the extra sand It is so smooth and carefully spoken that we never for one second had any clue that there would be this amount of fill-dirt left for us to deal with, and with what, a shovel? It is my speculation that they have had so many complaints about this, that in order to protect themselves from any suits involving the complete destruction of one's yard, they have you sign this form KNOW WHAT YOU ARE SIGNING!!! When they say it will be a constructions zone, they don't just mean when they are working, they mean they will leave behind a complete disaster nowhere resembling a yard, and your dreams of a nice pool will quickly be ruined when you see what you are left with
After filling the pool with water and attempting to shovel in some dirt, the mounds around the pool could not be leveled at all, and the sand remains in a large heapWe cranked up the filter and found that the motor DID NOT WORK! We called and yes, they sent someone out the next day to fix itWhen the man arrived, he was shocked when he saw our yardI asked him if this was typical, and he said, "no ma'am, this is not typical." He called his boss, who happened to be Brian, and told him something to the effect of, it looks like a bomb went off back hereBrian instructed him to take pics and to bring them back and that he would call me that following Monday This was a Friday, the pool had been installed the Wednesday before
On Monday I received no call, and later in the day my husband again, called the store He was told that Brian was "out" and they would have him call usA little while later Brian called me and said that the service man who fixed our filter was out that day and that he would have to get with him the following day to see the pics What Brian did not know is that I had texted the service man and asked him if he had given his boss the pics and he confirmed with me that he hadBelieving Brian was lying to me, I quickly said, "well I can text you the pics right now" and didIn this day in age, it only takes a second to send and receive a photo, no need to meet in person or wait a day I believe that it was just a put off Brian then told me he would come out the FOLLOWING Tuesday, days after the pool had been installed My husband showed him the mess and he told my husband he would get the gate fixed but he would do nothing about the dirt He told my husband he could back fill the dirt up inches without damaging the pool Everything I have read online says you should not try sinking or adding dirt to the sides of an above ground pool, as it can collapse the sides He told my husband, "it would only collapse it if there was no water, and you won't drain it for or years until you change the liner Well I guess at that time we would have to rent a backhoe and dig the dirt back out again just to drain it then wouldn't we? He was completely indifferent and shrugged his shoulders and took our gate and left

An unstable pool was installed with five panel walls creased This was new pool purchase
We invested $in a family pool and it was installed improperlyWhen we contacted Family Leisure about the problem they spoke with us once and avoided our phone calls several times after and refused to provide owners full name When we finally did speak to someone I believe it was ***, We told him five panels had creases at the bottom at each support post and each crease was covered up with at least six inches of dirt so that it was not visibleHe told me it was our faultFamily Leisure stated it was our problemThe pool manager said they would come out if we paid them again for there servicesWe replied that we have already paid for the pool installation and it was their job to correct the problemThe wall panels are creased and new walls would need to be installedFamily Leisure said that is not an optionGetting our money back is not an optionSo, we are left
