asked the mechanic for an estimate for a possible starter problem.  Mr. [redacted] was told that the job would take approximately 5 hours, which would be an estimated price of $400.00 - $500.00 for labor, not including parts, as well as the cost of the tow to our repair facility.  When discussing the balance with Mr. [redacted], he became very irate, stating that the driver implied that the $400 to $500 would include everything.  Mr. [redacted] was told that he was given an estimate, and the price was consistent with other garages for the same repair.   I have two estimates from two other garages for the same repair.  Monroe Muffler would have charged $702.35 and Great Lakes Honda would have charged $762.78.  Mr. [redacted]’s bill was $640.50 and he was not charged for the tow.  Mr. [redacted] received a less than average charge and a tow for free.  Thank you for giving me the opportunity to respond.   [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:I have attached an invoice my brother, who has the same car, received earlier this year for the same job at $575.  The tow I received was part of my AAA membership.  I maintain that I was quoted $400-500 for the job.  At no time was I contacted to approve any charges above this amount.  Here is a link to the law that Team Towing violated multiple times throughout our transaction as stated in my previous response. http://codes.ohio.gov/oac/109:4-3-13 Regards,[redacted]
