Complaint Information:
text-align: left;" valign="top"> Mr*** had presented his *** *** to our service department on 07/16/stating that when filling vehicle with fuel the pump will stop every few minutesCustomer claimed to have had the fuel lines cleaned out and charcoal canister replaced by an outside facility to address this concernUpon inspection of the vehicle it became apparent that the vehicle had been in a collision at one time and had multiple new front end parts installed on vehicle and the radiator was leakingThe technician also discovered during diagnosis that the fuel lines had never been cleaned out as stated and that the fuel evap filter was completely cloggedWe recommended that we clean out the fuel lines and replace the fuel evap filter, Mr*** approved both recommendations and the work was performedWhen Mr*** had attempted to leave he came in stating that the vehicle wouldn't startOur technician went out to the vehicle with Mr*** and tested the battery, the results of which showed the battery to be badWe provided Mr*** with a price to replace the battery and he declinedWe then proceeded to jump start his vehicle for him so he could leaveI had received a message from Mr*** and had attempted twice to call him but he never answered and his phone was not sfor voicemail so that I could leave a messageAt no time was I ever made aware nor do me or staff know that the vehicles rear lights were staying onThe vehicle came in for a particular issue to which we addressed and we were never made aware of any electrical issues until the vehicle would not start at which point we tested and recommended a batteryIt is our position that we certainly did nothing to cause the issue with the lights staying on and therefore don't feel the need to have to replace MrVargas' battery at no chargeIt is also worth noting that until the electrical issue is addressed the vehicle will continue to drain any battery put in the vehicleWe remain willing to assist Mr*** in any way we can that makes sense for him as well as our business, including a discounted diagnostic charge to determine the cause of his lights staying on

Review: I have just been made conservator over an elderly woman with senile dementia. About a year ago she purchased a 2010 vehicle with about 20000 miles on it from [redacted]. Looking at her paperwork because her payments are so high I did some research. They charged her the same price for this 2010 used car as what she would pay for a new 2013 car, same model. There were no extras added to this car to make it more expensive. She now is needing Title 19 because she will probably need a nursing home and we can't sell the car because she owes $8000.00 more than what it is worth. I called the dealership and they said I could not prove the car was not worth what they sold it for and they got very rude. Anyone talking to this elderly woman a year ago would have known she has some serious issues and I feel like they really took advantage of her.Desired Settlement: I am not sure how to have it settled. She needs to get rid of the car. I would just like help in trying to solve this. I was hoping I could get some advise from the Revdex.com.
