First I would like to clear that Queens Screen responded to all of [redacted] ***'s concerns in a timely fashion. Each time he phoned and said there was leakage a technician was sent to address the issueWhen responding to [redacted] ***'s latest concern it was discovered that when his original roof had a tree fall on it [redacted] went onto the roof and put a tarp over it to protect the interior of his sunroom. However in doing this he put screws into his house roof making holes through the asphalt shingles and aluminum flashing. He was then informed that he would need to replace the asphalt shingles that were damaged by him by whatever means he found suitable This was not the responsibility of Queens Screen as it had nothing to do with the work we performed. As a favor to [redacted] the technician performed a temporary fix to the asphalt shingle with silicone caulking and was told that the affected shingles were in need of replacementThe technician went so far as to replace the aluminum flashing at no cost to [redacted] ***.After the next rainfall [redacted] informed us that no water came in meaning the leak, (which was not caused by Queens Screen), had been resolved Then [redacted] went up onto the roof with a hose and forced water under the roof shingle and said the leak was back This is no way to test for a leak as rain no matter how hard does not force water to travel under the roof shingles. In conclusion the sunroom roof that was replaced by Queens Screen is not the cause of water entering the sunroom

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: [Your Answer Here] It is true that water did come in in the area that Queens Screens is referencing And that section of the roof has not had further leakage. However there is another section of the roof approximately feet away from that leak that also had a leak It had not leaked there before the new roof and it was feet away from where the patch was that I had installed It is true that the company has sent someone out to repair the leak a number of times However I also don't know when the repair man would arrive or if had come or not since they rarely called me regarding the issue to let me know he was coming or if he had seen something The repair man on a number of occasions has come in patch the roof and it would be ok for the next rain - no leak Then it would fail again on the second or 3rd rain fall As far as me "forcing a hose on the roof" - I sprayed the side of my house with a garden hose to test prior to painting or having carpet installedI tested the roof this way timesQueens Screens was not there when I tested the roof this way - so they can't speak to the method of how I tested the leakThe first time it did leak and Queens Screens did come back out and patch the leak againAnd again it appeared that it was resolved So much so that we painted the interior and made an appointment to have carpet installed On the morning of the carpet install we had to cancel since the patch had once again failed. As of the last rain there has been no leak However I don't wish to have too much time go by without some record of this incase the interior, once it is all back together, will be in some way damaged.I just want to also say that over all Queens Screens has been great I know that issues like this can be difficultI am also in the service industry and know how difficult a situation like this can be I just want my room back. Thanks, [redacted] In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Queen screen is responsible for the safe keeping of property regardless of a policy which in no way states that the items would be discarded In a bailor Bailee agreement it is grossly negligent on his part to throw away my property and he should be responsible for themThe owner was aware that I was coming the screens were finished on 3/** which is days not as far as phone calls a message was left that his scrap guy was there and if he wasn't called back at that minute they'd be thrown out either way it was negligence on queen screens part

This was resolved 4 weeks ago.

5/**/15[redacted], In response to the complaint lodged by [redacted], [redacted] had dropped off two 48” x 96” white aluminum patio door screen for repair on 3/*/15.The repair consisted of re screening the frames with fiberglass screen mesh at a cost of $110.00 plus $ 9.49 tax for a total of...

$119.49.  A deposit of $20.00 was left at that time. When the repair was completed [redacted] was called repeatedly to come and pick up his screens..There were calls made on, 3/**/15, 4/*/15, 4/**/15.  The only call returned was on 4/**/15.  At that time [redacted] said he would be in the following day to pick up the screens.  He did not show up and did not call.  Subsequently two more calls were made on, 4/** and 5/*/15 with no call being returned.  During each call, after the 30th day [redacted] was informed that if he did not pick up the screen that they would be sent to scrap as is our policy and is clearly posted above the desk where [redacted]’s repair ticket was written.  The 30 days was 4/*/15.  During the three calls dated 4/*/15, 4/**/15, 4/**/15 and 5/*/15 [redacted] was reminded of this and also informed of the business hours which are also clearly posted on the front door.On Thursday 5/*/15 the screens were sent to scrap.  Clearly 60 days after the screens were left here.Again, Queens Screen is not responsible for and repairs left here for more than 30 days and now is completely disputing this compliant. If [redacted] would like his $20.00 deposit back he is certainly welcome to come and retrieve it.Sincerely, [redacted], [redacted] byQueens Screen Co.###-###-#### office###-###-#### fax[redacted]

It is true that water did come in in the area that Queens Screens is referencing.  And that section of the roof has not had further leakage. However there is another section of the roof approximately 15 feet away from that leak that also had a leak.  It had not leaked there before the new roof and it was 15 feet away from where the patch was that I had installed.  It is true that the company has sent someone out to repair the leak a number of times.  However I also don't know when the repair man would arrive or if had come or not since they rarely called me regarding the issue to let me know he was coming or if he had seen something.  The repair man on a number of occasions has come in patch the roof and it would be ok for the next rain - no leak.  Then it would fail again on the second or 3rd rain fall.  As far as me "forcing a hose on the roof" -  I sprayed the side of my house with a garden hose to test prior to painting or having carpet installed. I tested the roof this way 2 times. Queens Screens was not there when I tested the roof this way - so they can't speak to the method of how I tested the leak. The first time it did leak and Queens Screens did come back out and patch the leak again. And again it appeared that it was resolved.  So much so that we painted the interior and made an appointment to have carpet installed.  On the morning of the carpet install we had to cancel since the patch had once again failed. As of the last rain there has been no leak.  However I don't wish to have too much time go by without some record of this incase the interior, once it is all back together, will be in some way damaged.I just want to also say that over all Queens Screens has been great.  I know that issues like this can be difficult. I am also in the service industry and know how difficult a situation like this can be.  I just want my room back. Thanks,[redacted]
