Dear Mr. David D[redacted],
On October 20, 2015 Ms. W[redacted] brought her 2001 Ford Expedition to me...

complaining that she had no heat. When the engine was up to 195 degrees I revved the engine up, and I got no heat out of the vents. I used a laser and check the temperature of the outlet and inlet heater hoses and there was a 30 degrees difference between the two hoses. Which indicates the Heater Core was plugged. I replaced the Heater Core which was full of rust and got some heat when I revved the engine up. After a few minutes the heat would go away. Which indicated the vehicle still had a flow issue. After further checking I found the Water Pump was not pumping I took the Water Pump off and the impellors were gone due to all of the rust in the system. I replaced the Water Pump and then I got heat so I let it run for a while and the heat stayed consistent. Ms. W[redacted] still owes me One Hundred Sixty Six Dollars And Twenty Four Cents ($166.24 with tax) for the Water Pump repair. While, I was replacing the Water Pump I noticed the Radiator was leaking on both sides and also the Intake Manifold Gasket was leaking. I diagnosed and informed Ms. W[redacted] of these other problems with her vehicle at no charge to her.
Ms. W[redacted] never requested to me to leave the old parts in the vehicle. She picked up her vehicle after closing hours. I still have the old parts and now will keep as evidence that these parts were replaced. Ms. W[redacted] in her statement to you the that I deceived and lied about the repairs and that the repairs were never done that is a flat out lie. Ms. W[redacted] was never deceived and all work stated was done. Where is her proof that the repairs were not done. She also implies additional damage was done to prior repairs while at my business. This is all a bunch of non-sense there was no damage done to her vehicle that was not already there when she brought it to me. If she is referring to the Radiator and the Intake Manifold Gasket which I discuss with her, you can plainly see that the leaks to the Radiator and the Intake Manifold Gasket have been leaking for a while. Ms. W[redacted] has a problem with the truth. If she does not cease and desist with her untruths about me and my business she will leave me no choice as to seek legal action against her.
I have forty one year's experience in the auto repair business thirty of which has been owner and operator of Family Radiator Works. My employee also has over 27 years of experience. We take each of our customers and their repairs issue seriously. We always try to treat our customers with the utmost respect and have gained many repeat customers over the past 30 years as a result.
In summary and looking at Ms. W[redacted]'s desired Resolution is that she wants to do a charge back on her MasterCard. It is my belief that Ms. W[redacted] just wants to get the repairs that were performed on her vehicle for free. If anyone is being fraudulent it is Ms. W[redacted]. I feel I dealt fairly and honestly with Ms. W[redacted] and have done the repairs that I stated I did and charged her for and should get paid for doing so.
