Dear Sir / Ma'am,I have been having a lot of trouble getting dentures at the Family Smiles located at Central Ave, Albuquerque, NM, 87105.Initially, they did not take impressions, only wanted to use old, ill-fitting dentures and then try to correct after the new ones were made.When this did not
work, eventually, they started making impressions, which still did not fit properly. There seems to be a real problem with getting dentures from the DDS Lab in Florida. It takes forever and when they finally arrive, they do not fit properly at all.Our first appointment was November 21, 2017. We did each receive a denture in December, me a top and her a bottom, neither of which fit properlyUnited Healthcare paid out for these.Now it is April and we have had repeated impressions and fittings which are not quality work and do not fit. *** finally got a temporary set on March 27, 2018.They are charging $2,each for each person for last year and this year, so $8,total.On April 17, *** received a permanent set of dentures, but they still do not fit and have a bad taste and are rugged inside and have a hold inside and her name tattooed inside.On April 19, I received a permanent set, but they do not fit properly, look ugly, and taste like cheap plasticThey are so thin that you can see through them. They also have my name tattooed inside, which shows through.On May 1st, we both returned our dentures for the above reasons.United Healthcare, our Medicare, paid out $1,for each of us in 2017, a total of $2,and $1,for each of us in 2018, for a total of $2,for this year

I do apologize about the delay, I was not here at the time of this incident.  However, I have contacted our corporate department and the refund is in the process of being issued. The amount to be refunded is $208.20[redacted]

When Ms. [redacted] arrived to our location our front office staff started to check her in and inform her of our new $52 Texas Dental Plan for cash patients (Patients without insurance), she became upset when we informed her that we do not offer the $30 exam special anymore. She asked to speak with...

the manager and that is when I came to assist her. While speaking with Ms. [redacted] she stated that the television was to loud, so I muted the television so she could better hear me. She told me that she was upset because no one informed her of the change in prices. I informed her that we do confirmation calls and was prepared to inform her on the 3 day call prior to her appointment of the change. She became very upset and stated that she was going to report us and didn't want to hear anything else. I tried to inform her that I could reach out to my Regional manager and see if I can get that approved for her to still receive the $30 special if she would allow me about 5 minutes to reach out to her. She declined and stormed out. I did still reach out to my Regional and got the special approved for her. Ms. [redacted] called about 5/10mins after leaving the office to state again that she would be reporting us. I tried to explain to her then that I spoke with my regional and got the special approved for her, she continued to speak very loud and would not listen to anything I had to say and then hung up on me. I have tried reaching out to Ms. [redacted] since her visit to the office but have not been able to reach her.
