Insanely highly recommend Family Tax Review!! Couldn’t be more on the money (no pun intended) with the name. They felt like a warm family. No bs jus to hard working incredible group that made me very happy!!

I found Family Tax Review on Instagram via an advertisement and I'm so glad I did! They've gotten me back over 7K and it has helped tremendously during this pandemic. The process was so simple, all the staff go above and beyond to communicate and get you back the money you deserve! Thank you so much for all your help!

The owner threatened to show up at my house where I have 4 little girls that I am raising. I am concerned for the safety of myself and my family due to his anger. They also messed up badly when filing my tax return this year and cost me a lot of extra money due to their mistakes.

This client signed a contract that stated he was to pay us after he received his refund check (with 24 hours). Client received his IRS refund check on June 6 and avoided our calls and Billings. He was clearly trying to steal our fee. I offered to stop by his house or work to pick up our check to make it more convenient for him. No threat was ever issued. After avoiding us for over 6 weeks, and after we conducted over 6 months of work for his file, he finally paid a partial payment, and agreed to pay the balance in the next week. We are satisfied with this outcome, as we understand this has been a tough year for many Americans.

Client agreed to pay on a certain day and did not follow through. Client did pay a portion of the bill one day later, which we are satisfied with. It’s amazing that we got this person over $14,000 back, and he was trying to avoid paying our professional fees. Strange times we are living in these days.

I am rejecting this response because:

There was never an agreed upon date for payment. They made a mistake on the tax filing which caused nearly a 2 month delay in receiving the return, which costed me thousands of dollars because I was behind on all my bills. I did not work for over 3 months and have 4 little girls to take care of. When I finally got my tax refund back (Which they billed me $5,300 for) I had to make double payments and spend the money getting myself above water. I started working and was going to pay with my income. I shortly thereafter started receiving threats from the company (which I have proof of). To date, I have paid this organization in full and this man who owns the company (Brian) Felt it necessary to accost and threaten me over the money. When I’m just trying to survive. It truly was never my intention not to pay and I explained that. But he still threatened to have people show up at my house and to personally come to my house. He’s a scary man and the kind of person that you see taking advantage people with force. Buyer beware. I just want an apology over these reprehensible comments and threats and he can’t even do that. What do you think he’ll do to you?

We did not cost this customer his job. The fee paid for this work was discounted to $3,300. We did not cost this customer anything. We only helped him by getting him another $14-15k. Our Contract that he signed clearly states that our fees rate to be paid within 24 hours of receipt. When we asked for payment as agreed, he avoided our calls and billing for six weeks. It was only after I offered to pick up a check from his home or work that prompted him to make a new payment arrangement. Which he did not follow. He did however pay the reduced fee within 24 hours of when he agreed to do so. We are happy with this. Another point: This client had used us before to amend the prior three years of taxes (last year). He paid that bill in full and on time. He also was so satisfied with our service and results that he used us again to file his 2019 regular taxes, using our same tax strategies.

In summary: We did not cause this customer to lose his job. We did not charge our fees until after he was paid. We discounted our 2019 fees due to a clerical error 40% to compensate him for the error. Even though we gave him a courtesy discount, he still received his full refund of over $14,000. This whole thing is simply a smoke screen he was making to try and avoid paying our fees. Most people call this attempting to steal. We are happy that after exhaustive collection efforts, this client stopped avoiding us, and has paid our discounted fees in full. He got his $14,000+ refund, and we got some of our fees. Mr. got busted for trying to steal our fees. Once he got caught, he did the right thing, and promptly paid the bill. It is not bad customer service to expect and collect for our fees that this customer was clearly trying to steal.

Don’t use this business! Grevious mistakes made and handling my case, in particular mistook me for another customer. In 2019, I had asked for a review on my taxes, to which I was told nothing could be done for 2019 but to come back in 2020 which I did. I was never left a message that they would not handle my case; I have emails that say that they were handling my case! The night of the deadline, I was told my taxes were sent electronically; the day after the deadline, I was told via email that my case would not be handled and that I was told it wasn’t going to be handled which is an outright lie! I know I have to go (after the deadline) to a CPA to file my forms late. We can blame it on COVID-19, but this is really bad ethics, on customer care of a tax review!

This customer thought that she engaged our services, but she never did. We spoke with her over a a year ago and figured out we could not help her. Sorry for the misunderstanding, but we never started work on any of your taxes, nor did we even sign an agreement with you.
