Hello, I was in the middle of watching this movie when the fire alarm went off in the middle of it. I waited outside for a refund for half an hour in the cold and then left. There is no number to reach a person at this movie theatre!!! Very frustrating as I don't want to have to drive back to this theatre for a refund. It is very far away from my home. I have tried calling numerous numbers, even the children party booking telephone number and can't reach an actual person!!!! I would like a refund and free movie tickets to compensate me for the huge waste of time last evening.I saw, "[redacted]" at 7:30 at the Silvercity Riverport cinema.Desired SettlementRefund and 2 free movie tickets. I have my receipts and movie stubs ad can provide these upon request.

We were double charged for a birthday party we held for our 9 year old daughter at the theatre - $294.55 charged twice on our visa on april 24th after there was a problem at the till. Total charge $589.10 for a party that cost half that amount.Cineplex' "Guest Services" division most ineffectivie and at times rude, and credit is still not through after 2 weeks of waiting an not receiving any updates or calls from anyone there, despite many assurances. We have had to start the process all over again and now there are indications that maybe they will help us in another week. This is weeks of running around chasing for a credit caused by Cineplex' own incompetence - today we received an email telling us they will "possibly help" us get the refund. Service intolerable, cineplex is earning interest on this double charge while our visa is short almost $300. Desired SettlementAt this stage, Cineplex should refund both charges for a total of $589.10 for this deplorable service at their end after an error was made on their part and through no fault of our own.the manager at the theatre where he mistake originally occurred has tried to get this done for us but Cineplex' Guest Services would not give her the authority. Business Response The theatre POS system froze during the transaction resulting in a second charge. On our system we could only see one charge until further investigation took place. Once we confirmed a second charge, a refund was processed. This took much longer than we would have liked. As a result for the wait and understandable guest frustration, we refunded the original purchase as well the double charge and provided additional compensation as a good will gesture. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
