Review: Ironically, this service based company has little regard for any sort of customer service. They have a default "no can do" attitude and their employees are not capable of thinking outside the box to solve issues and hide behind their terms of service. I attempted to use their services after receiving a voucher as a gift. The first task was done poorly (admittedly later fixed to a satisfactory level). The other few tasks involving transcription were denied outright since "requests should be something that your assistants can reasonably complete in about 15 minutes"If they actually watched the video, they would have seen there was very little dialogue and it would have taken much less than 15 min. I even offered to use up extra tasks to get it done but of course, this was not possible:"We don't have a way to charge you multiple task credits for the same task, as our terms of service dictates that each task has to be submitted separately. "Other tasks were denied for various reasons too. After expressing my dissatisfaction for the service on May [redacted] and requesting a refund, I heard nothing. On May [redacted], I respectfully responded to a generic autoresponder email from their founder, [redacted] (everyone gets this email after x number of days). His email asked about my experience with his service and offered a whopping 75% discount code to buy more of their useless services.I expected a personal reply from [redacted], instead, support emailed me denying my refund since it was a gift and I would have to go ask the gifter to request a refund.Well, that's awkward. So, I asked if there was any other viable solution, an [redacted] gift card or maybe a credit to a service that actually works like [redacted]? Then on July [redacted] (THAT'S OVER A MONTH!) they say they can't do anything outside protocol (apparently taking a month to reply IS protocol though!)What a terrible experience! I would like a refund and for the founder to read [redacted]'s Thank You Economy.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the total value of the gift. They should not be allowed to keep money for a useless service. Plus, taking over a month to respond is simply not acceptable. I can verify everything I've stated in my complaint with emails if need be.

Review: In December of 2012, my husband purchased a subscription to Fancy Hands for me as a Christmas gift. It cost approximately $400. I tried it for six months, I was disappointed in the service, so I asked to cancel. As per their terms of service, a customer can cancel at any time "with no penalty." The woman I worked with, [redacted]., sent an email indicating that she'd canceled my subscription and was issuing a prorated refund. A few days later I received another email from her indicating that she was sorry, but their billing system could not process the refund because the credit card on file was no longer valid. She said I needed to dispute the charge with my credit card company. I suggested that this seemed really unusual, and I offered to provide her with current credit card information. I heard nothing for many days, possibly weeks. This week, I followed up and was told the same thing. [redacted] went so far as to provide screen shots of the billing system indicating that they cannot issue a refund, even with up-to-date card information. She suggested again that my only recourse is to work with the credit card company to dispute the charge. This seems outrageous to me--that a company can refuse to provide a refund because their software doesn't allow it.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund, prorated to June *, 2013. Cash or check is fine.

At this time, I have not been contacted by Fancy Hands regarding complaint ID [redacted].

Sincerely,

Review: I rendered services to this company and they failed to pay me for them. My account was then disabled when I demanded payment.Desired Settlement: I would like a phone call, and explanation, apology and my payment!
