I purchased tickets onlineThe kiosk at the theater gave me a message it was unable to retrieve the ticketsI was able to purchase tickets from the electronic kiosk fro the movieI contacted Fandango expecting it should be easy to resolveAll I've gotten from Fandango customer service was: a request to join Fandango, statement that they are unable to refund the money they took and failed to provide the purchased product, requests for more information (supplied), and emails that if they have no further contact from me in hours they will consider the issue resolved, and thanks for the business

I purchased tickets on line with Fandango for the first time I paid with my debit card Three hours before movie, I knew I coolant make it and rescheduled for I took fandango credits instead of refund When I tried to reschedule again, 1/before movie, and it wouldn't let me get another movie time because it was in credits I immediately called Fandango and was on hold for minutes before I hung up I tried again this a.m., with the same resultI finally found live chat, and they are refusing to give me the credits!

Used Fandango last night to buy tickets to a show minutes laterWhen I clicked the purchase button it went to an error pageThinking my purchase didnt go through since I did not see a confirmation email right away I bought a ticket at tge theaterI woke up this morning and realized I got a confirmation number so I called customer serviceI told them the purchase never went through from what I could see and if I could get a credit or refundThe request sounded simple enough but they said they would not give me a refund because it was not hours before the show when I requested itHorrible customer service , do not use them for your ticket purchasesThe $was obviously too important for them to lose over a customer

Fandango won't give money back despite not providing serviceI bought a ticket through fandango.com and paid through my credit cardSince the show got canceled, I requested a refund from fandango customer supportWell, fandango wouldn't return the money despite not providing the service, instead was offering me fandango creditsNo business on earth does thisIf the paid service was not provided as promised due to no fault of the customer, it's the responsibility of the business to return the money the way it was paidAnd, every respected business does thisFandango is refusing to return the money the way it was paid; in my case the credit cardStay away from FandangoIt's easier to buy and get refunds from theaters

I have had the unfortunate experience of dealing with fandango for the first time last monthI had received a gift card for my birthday and learned that it could only be used online...with an unavoidable $fee for using the gift card online
As upsetting as that was, I had a gift card and it needed to be used, so I entered all my informationEven though I was using a gift card, and the total was below my gift cards balance, dear fandango forced me to enter my credit card and guess what? The pages "session" timed outGreatSo I go through and enter everything againThis time it appeared to be successfulTurns out however, that the session which timed out had still managed to get far enough to charge my credit cardNot the gift card, my credit cardAlso, amazingly enough, the "successful" transactions total which, as mentioned earlier, was BELOW the balance of my gift card, still managed to leave me with an empty gift card balanceI should have still had about $on thereHonestly, I would have thrown it away anyways since it would cost me that extra $just to use my gift card, so it wouldn't really leave me with any real savings
I emailed fandango moment's after this happened, this had all taken so long I was already late for the movie I had gone through all this trouble forI received an automated response saying I can't dispute or cancel tickets if the show time was within hoursUmmBut I bought these tickets on my way to the movie? I emailed again explaining the whole situation, waited a few days and having not heard from them, asked my credit card company to do a chargeback, which they didNearly a month later, fandango charged me againIf they can find the time to charge me this many times, you would think they could find the time to read my emails and resolve the situation

I purchased tickets for Star Wars for a date I believed to be 1/2/ When I printed the confirmation, I realized that the tickets were actually purchased for 12/30/ I called the customer service number and was on hold for more than minutes I decided to also wait in a queue for chat support When the representative came on the line, I explained my issue I was told there was nothing I could do since the show time has passed I explained that I would like credit for a different show, and was told that I also could not get credit After going back and forth for a few minutes, the representative cut me off and abruptly ended the chat At no time was I disrespectful to the representative Since I had already purchased tickets for the correct show, and I was basically hung up on, I decided to take the tickets to the theater to see what could be done The theater was able to take my tickets transfer them to the showing I wanted, and gave me coupons for a future showing That is all I wanted Why the rude representative couldn't suggest this to me , I do not know I was going to open a class action lawsuit, but I realized that I could not do that after reading Fandangos terms and conditions Never again will I purchase tickets using Fandango I'd rather go to the movie theater directly

I only use Fandango to take advantage of Promotion codes that appear on Blu-rays, DVDs, and sometimes food and other products, and I recently got burnt by Fandango twice on one transaction
Secret Life of Pets movie money Fandango Promotion codes recently appeared on certain Blu-rays and I bought one to take advantage of the offerUpon seeing that the film was going to be available in IMAX, I called and asked if multiple promotion codes can be used for a single transaction and was unhesitantly told Yes, that promotion codes were "stackable" and could be used together
I bought a second Blu-ray with the code, but when the day came for me to use them, the first one wasn't accepted on the siteAfter some initial confusion, a Fandango phone rep informed me that it would not work for IMAX (an arbitrary and unfair limitation), despite the fact that every promotion code I've ever used for IMAX worked fine, most recently for Warcraft in IMAXShe offered me no alternatives and said that I would have to contact *** - the juice company! - apparently because they had a Fandango promotion at the time, even though I explained to her that my code came from a Blu-ray and *** didn't appear to in any way have to do with the code I was attempting to use
I called up the theater and asked if there might be some kind of way to get this to work, and was told something could done, so I put my promotion code through for a less expensive non-IMAX showing at a similar time, but I soon discovered that the second code wouldn't be accepted for the remaining amount as I was originally toldThe use of the codes was the entire motivation for my purchasing the Blu-rays, and media, once opened, cannot be returned, so I was stuck with a code that I couldn't use unless I planned to see the film a second time(Good movie, but no, I won't watch it twice.)
At the theater a helpful manager was able to use the Fandango confirmation number and give me a ticket for the IMAX showing as long as I paid the additional cost of only $4, which I did, and finally was able too see the film in IMAX, but no thanks to Fandango
Fandango codes effectively make DVDs, Blu-rays, and movies in theaters cheaper and/or free (On occasion there are even instances in which I would lose money if I didn't buy DVDs and Blu-rays with promotion codes!), but the Fandango service now seems like a hassle and risk, and I only tolerate it in order to get that savings

The customer service at this company is terrible! We purchased tickets for our entire family We purchased the tickets a week in advance so one of our family members was not able to go We contacted the online customer service and requested a refund for the ticket that we are not going to be able to use The chat customer service agent refused to refund the one ticket She demanded that we turn in all of our tickets - for a show thats been sold out since Monday of this week and repurchase them on line - if they come available again I explained that the show is sold out and has been for almost a week...she disconnected the chat I contacted via chat again and got the exact same agent I requested a supervisor and she says..."the supervisor is just going to tell you the same thing" Supervisor finally comes on the chat...she outright refuses to give customer service...keeps repeating the same canned "company policy to not refund and we are so sorry for your disappointment" When I stated that she is a supervisor and has the authority to satisfy the customer her response was "the previous agent told you that you would be told the same thing by the supervisor" They have absolutely no desire to assist or satisfy their customers and are willing to lose customers for the $price of a ticket Do not do business with them...they are the worst

I tried to buy movie tickets online this morning at Fandango.com because my mother in law is coming tomorrow and we are going to surprise my older two boys and take them to see a movieShe asked me to buy the tickets online ahead of time for her so I didBut I accidentally selected a movie time for today instead of tomorrowI didn't realize this until after I purchased it and printed the ticketsI tried to contact customer service and they don't even have a phone number just an online chat optionI had to wait almost minutes to chat with someone who then told me that their policy states refunds/ exchanges can only be made up to hours prior to the start of the movieI bought the tickets at 10:AM and accidentally picked today's show at 11:so it did not fall within their policy time frame, therefore there was nothing they could doI asked to speak with a manager twice and was told both times that a manager was not available but they would have a manger email me with in hoursSo a few hours later I get an automated email response simply stating their refund/ exchange policy with no attempt to actually solve the problemI responded to that "supervisor" email with my concerns again and received another automated response citing their policyTalk about terrible customer service!!! So my point is that don't buy tickets online at Fandango.com because they have terrible policies, customer services, and really don't care about their customers!!! In my family, every dollar matters, now we have lost $30+ to Fandango for a movie we did not seeThat was the one and only time I used Fandango and they have lost my business forever

This is by far the worst online experience EVER!!!!!!! After I tried 3 times to order tickets online with no success, I sat on hold for over a half hour just to try to explain my problem to a woman with such a thick foreign accent that I could barely understand her. She asked me what she was supposed to do and I told her she was the customer service representative, please help me. She was rude and hard to understand. I then asked her to speak to a supervisor. She put me on hold for another 20 minutes before I got an automated message asking me to leave a message. And still, my problem was never solved!

I immediately called Fandango and was on hold for 55 minutes before I hung up. I tried again this a.m., with the same result. I finally found live chat, and they are refusing to give me the credits!

I accidentally purchased tickets for the same day, instead of a future date. I called immediately after to try and change the tickets. But they refused to do anything because I did not call 2 hours prior to the start of the show, even though the could see I bought them 42 minutes prior to the show starting. I didn't even get the opportunity to call 2 hours prior, so they basically said tough luck. In essence they stole my 18 dollars, and now me and my daughter aren't going to the movies.

Dont get your tickets from them. I purchased on their app and their app refreshed and I have no idea how my tickets went to a different theater. They said they couldn't help. I just wanted a coupon for $10 or something or maybe offer me a free drink and then I would know they cared.. I spent $40... I do not believe this was entirely my fault as it has happened to others. Why have a customer service if they cant do anything but frustrate you even more. Hopefully, I will get to my bank before them. I'd rather pay my bank a $25 stop payment fee then give it to these selfish heartless people. I don't even care about the freakin $40. It's all about getting even with a company that sucks.
