Review: We have had a contract with Fanning to install a mound septic system for us on a home we are building in Milton, WI. We signed the contract in June 2015 with the expectation that we were to have the house completed by January 8, 2016. We have had contact with Fanning over the past 5-6 months and continue to be told the weather is holding them up. They were given the go ahead to install the mound 6 months again. We are days from completing our house and still do not have the mound installed. I understand weather is a factor but can not believe that over a 6 month period there hasn't been a day they could have installed the mound. As on this morning they still could not give me a date they were going to complete the job. We are paying them $12000 to complete a job, it is expected by any customer that for $12000 the job would be done on time! Fanning had also said we didn't call them and tell them to install the system yet we call every couple weeks and are told it's the weather. The contract we signed should have been all they needed. Why would have I have to call daily to ask it today's the day??? Fanning had also informed me they had set many mounds in the past 6 months! So why not ours? We feel they are taking advantage of us.Desired Settlement: We would like to move on. We have had 2 additional companies come to us and say they can complete the job, which we had informed Fanning of. If they don't want to complete the job, we will find someone who can. I understand they have time and money I to this job but it will cost me more to have someone come in and figure out where they left off or even start over. Or it needs to be installed as promised by 1/8.

I have reviewed the last message from you and the complainant. I am not sure as to what more you would like from us. I did meet [redacted] personally at the site when I installed the pump last week, 1/21/16. I shook her hand, introduced myself, and asked if she had any questions. I also gave her an alarm which she was to give to her husband for install, as they were saving some money by hooking up the power on their own. We also discussed having their finish grader finishing the mound as it makes sense to have just one finish grader on the site. We would credit that part of the cost to them. She seemed open to this idea.
