Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I did not authorize any charges other then my initial deposit to be charged to my account. I was never notified that there was a problem nor was I notified that my card would be charged. The fact that I had to contact this company once I found the charge on my card and was never told prior shows me what a dishonest, sneaky company they are. The installer/owner upon being called due to the charge on my card stated to me that moving the bouncer voided my contract, so what gives them any right to charge me?

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The majority of this response is false and quite fabricated up to and including the date of the incident. On April **, 2015, not March, the company delivered the bouncer. It was setup in my yard less then ten feet from my fence since my yard is in a quite narrow area. It is a wood fence, with no sharp edges on it. I told the installers I was not happy with where it was installed and asked them to move it back a little as to give my party guests more space in front of the bouncer. It did not make the bouncer any closer to my fence just further into my yard. The installer said nothing about the contract nor not to move the bouncer, their response was that the inspector will come and give me a ticket. We were not told in writing or verbally as he claims, not to alter the bounce house, other then the initial written contract, which the [redacted] claims is voided if we move it. When the installers came to pick up the bounce house it was completely still staked in the ground. The installer asked my husband to inflate the bounce house and he did so with no issues. The bounce house was completely secure in the ground with no damage to it. I would never risk my guests children or my childrens safety by putting them in a bounce house that we did not stake into the ground. Additionally the bounce house still had the same tarp under it just as when the installers installed it. (See attached pictures where you can see the tarp under the bouncer, it staked into the ground and we also added a rug in front of it for shoes so we did not break any rules or dirty the bouncer). There was no conversation with my husband at pickup where he said "its no big deal". The installer told my husband "you shouldn't have done that." and then proceeded to clear the bounce house out and leave without another word to either of us and we said nothing to them. Never was there a word said about damage, violating the contract or charging my card any further fees. Within an hour of this shady business [redacted] leaving my home, he charged my card because he thought he could get away with it. I was never notified of any problem nor a charge until I checked my credit card statement ten days later at which time I saw the charge on my card. I then called the bounce company to inquire about it and they told me I voided my contract by moving the bouncer. Upon further inquisitions by me, they then claimed damage occurred, punctures and holes. If there were punctures or holes in this bouncer it would not have been blown up to full capacity at the time of pickup, yet it was. My husband then called the company back when he returned home and requested they forward pictures of the damage and questioned when my card was charged. They sent a picture of a line on a bouncer which is zoomed in, looks as if its normal wear and tear and could have been done at anyones party at any time. They do not provide proof it was at my home, nor does it looks like anything more then normal wear and tear. They also claimed the charge was made two days after my party, which is was not since it was charged within an hour after leaving my home. The real issue with me is that they took my form of payment which I utilized only for my deposit, since I paid cash for the balance, and utilized it without being authorized by me and without notifying me in any way. They would have never told me anything had I not contacted them. When my husband asked them how often they just charge peoples cards and dont get caught, the [redacted] had no answer at all. If people can do business like this and get away with it, who is out there to protect the consumer?

installation [redacted] told the installers she wanted the bounce house moved to the left hand corner of the yard so the kids could have more room to play during her party. We told [redacted] and her husband that we were unable  to install the bounce house in that part of the yard because the ground was not leveled and it was too close the fence that had sharp edges that could damage the bounce house. Our delivery team set up the bounce house to the center right of the back yard where it was safe to install. The client asked multiple times if we could set up the bounce house to the left in the place we told her it was unsafe to install. Our team instructed her multiple times that the bounce house could not be installed in that particular location of the yard. Our delivery team drove stakes into all four corners of the bounce house to anchor it from moving from the original place we installed in. Our team put a tarp under the bounce house as standard installation  to keep it clean from dirt, rocks leaves and so on. The client and her husband were verbally told in person and in writing not to move or alter the bounce house in anyway. When we returned to pick up the bounce house the following day we found the bounce house on the floor in the left hand corner of the yard exactly where our delivery team  told the client that the bounce house could not be installed on. [redacted] and her husband blatantly ignored and failed to follow the instructions of our delivery team. At this point the bounce was no longer anchored to the ground all of the stakes were loose on top of the grass. The bounce house was not secure in anyway. The bounce house was dragged across the yard without its tarp protecting the bounce house from underneath. [redacted] violated her contract by moving the bounce house and altering our installation creating a dangerous situation for all people using the bounce house. Because the bounce house was moved so close to the sharp edges of the fence  the sharp edges punctured the bounce house with many small indentations to its side. Every Time someone jumped in the bounce house the sides contact up and down every time the bounce house contacted up it pushed into the sharp edge of the fence. The bottom of the bounce house was full of dirt and other filth from being dragged across the lawn. When confronted by delivery we asked [redacted]’s husband why he moved the bounce house we also told him that he had violated his contract the client's husband said “it's no big deal”. [redacted] was charged $150.00 for the repair and cleaning costs of the damaged bounce house. This credit card was her method of payment as the card information is provided on her signed bill of sale. If [redacted] had just followed the instructions of our delivery team nothing would have happened to the bounce house. She was warned many times verbally and in writing and failed to follow instructions. It’s no ones fault but her own. [redacted] filed a chargeback on the credit card with her bank this matter is currently pending with the merchant company.

Review: Rented a bouncer from this company for my daughters birthday party. They showed up and delivered it. I paid cash balance upon delivery. Upon pickup they collected the bouncer and left without any customer service of saying good bye, thank you, etc. I now check my credit card statement of which number they had only for the initial deposit, since the balance was due in cash day of, and they had the nerve to charge my card $150.00 unauthorized and for no reason. I have left messages and texted the company and have gotten no response as to why they would charge my card unauthorized.Desired Settlement: refund the charge they put on my card for $150.00 since it was unauthorized and there was no reason for it

Response:

[redacted]We have read through all the statements that have been written by the compliant and the letters we have written in rebuttal to what she attested we had done wrong. As [redacted], stated in the original complaint [redacted] wanted the bounce house in the corner of the yard and our installers told [redacted] that it could not be put there for it was unsafe and we would have to put in more in the center of the yard. So, that is where our installers put the bounce house. As you see in [redacted]’s picture she has sent to you it is up against the fence in the back of the yard. That is the exact place she asked our installers to put it and our installers told her her it was unsafe and could possibly damage the equipment. [redacted] personally uploaded a picture showing the bounce house exactly where she was told it could not be. [redacted] signed the contract that said that the bounce house was not to be moved and she did move it. As for damages yes there were damages in the pictures we have sent to you the Revdex.com. The contract states if damages were incurred that there would be charges put against her credit card. As we had every right to do. If [redacted] listened to the simple instructions that she was given by our installation team she would of enjoyed her party and none of this would of happened. [redacted] has taken it upon herself to alter the bounce houses installation without any prior consent of our Company. We cannot control the actions are clients chose to take we can only guide our clients to make appropriate decision. We value our customers and are always ready to listen to any feedback our customers might have, but, when it comes to the safety of our customers we only put our products where they will work without doing any damage to anyone or anything.
