This message was sent at 3:11pm at the same dayAfter checking with Tina - the technician whom took care of [redacted] , Tina said that [redacted] had no complaints during the processThen I replied "Hi [redacted] , if you told the nail technician right away, she could fix for you without any chargeFor sure you cannot get your money backPlease send the picture of your fingers nails, then I will let you know what I can do for you nextThanks." Here is the picture she sent (the attachment) After looking at the picture, Tina's works seem good to me, then I gave [redacted] couple options "Hi [redacted] , I have two options for you: If you don't like the thickness of gel polish, we can take off the gel polish without any charges (value $10) If you like to change another color, we take off current gel polish and put another one onThis option costs $We offer you 40% off, so you will pay $if you choose this oneThe options are expired after 6pm on Thursday Oct 19,The shop closes on Tuesday, so we can not take you tomorrowPlease arrange your time and let me know! I am rejecting this response because: Although what Ruby said was partially true, she failed to add other parts of the messagePlease see the attached photos to see the entire conversationBefore I get into detail about why I am rejecting her response, I just want to say that I've had my nails done many times by many different people before and I am not the type of person to complain about mistakesI feel that I am a very fair person and understand that mistakes happenI usually just try to avoid that salon afterwordsIt is just nails after all, and this isn't a matter of life and death, but I feel that I have been ripped off and taken advantage of so badly that I feel that I have to speak up and say somethingFirst, when I made the appointment, they said it would only take minutes and the appointment took an hour to complete and made me late for workI couldn't spend extra time in the salon to intensely inspect my nails, and as you can see from the time stamp on the first text, I stated my complaint within a couple hours of being at the salonSecond, I had to ask Tina multiple times to correct the shape of the nail because I was not happy with how she filed themThird, I specifically communicated to Tina to not make my nail polish too thick but she was not receptive to my requests and made it too thick anywayIf I had realized that the polish was too thick while I was still in the salon, I wouldn't have had time to have her redo all of my nailsJust for reference, when you apply gel too thick, it causes the gel to pool at the base of the nail, creating a bubbling effect that I was not able to capture in a photo, and can only really be seen in personThis may be why they thought the nail looked good in the photo, but looks chunky and poorly done in personBecause of this it, it makes me feel that the technician did not receive the proper training to be a nail technicianAs for Ruby's response to my complaint, she didn't even take the time to apologize for the fact that I was not satisfied with my manicure or the work of her employeeAs for her solutions, I don't feel that she made a good-faith effort to remedy the situation, being that she wanted me to pay more money to correct their mistake and that she set the expiration date 10/19/knowing that I will be out of town by then and would not be able to make it into the salon before I left, as you can see in text #and #This made me feel that she was offering this solution out of spit and just trying to get rid of me rather than spending the time to properly fix the situationHad management been apologetic to the issue, taken ownership for the mistake, and made a good-faith effort to correct it, I do not believe I would have reached out to the Revdex.comBecause of my experience with this salon, I feel I have to report this poor customer service to the public so they can set their expectations if the choose to visit the salon

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: This issue with Fantasy Nails is not resolvedJenny said she would fix my nails and then failed to do soPutting nail glue under my lifted nails is not "fixing" the problemThe Problem is the shoddy work, and the failure to stand behind their serviceI do not have very flat nailsI have had my nails done successfully over the years at many nail saloonsI only over reacted when, Jenny would not make this rightRefusing to redo my nails, refusing to refund my money is not how people of honest establishments treat customersI would not stop talking? wrong again...Jenny kept saying the same thing over and over againJenny is the one that would not stop talkingThis is crazyIt was a simple service that Fantasy Nails failed to do, and stand behindI want their business listed in the "complaints have been filed list" and "beware of unfair business practices"This business and her nail techs should not even have licensesThey give the nail industry a bad name
I d
Sincerely,

There are nail techs in our shopMy husband, Jimmy did ***'s nails on WedLike she said she called and said that she had some problems with her nailsI told her to come back in and I (Jenny) would be glad to fix them for her***'s nails are very flat and the product had lifted on
a nail or twoI explained this to her and said that I would do my best to fix them for herShe agreed and I proceeded to do thatWhen I was done, she said she was still not happy with the resultsI said, "What do you want me to do for you?" She said, "Take them off." I reminded her that she would still need to pay for the work I had doneShe agreed and said she understood that she would have to pay for my workWhen I finished she said , "I want a refund." I reminded her that she had already agreed that there would not be a refundThat's when she over reacted and honestly I could not say much because she would not stop talkingI understand her original dissatisfaction with her nails, but I feel that I did my best to correct the problem

I am rejecting this response because:
Although what Ruby said was partially true, she failed to add other parts of the message. Please see the attached photos to see the entire conversation. Before I get into detail about why I am rejecting her response, I just want to say that I've had my nails done many times by many different people before and I am not the type of person to complain about mistakes. I feel that I am a very fair person and understand that mistakes happen. I usually just try to avoid that salon afterwords. It is just nails after all, and this isn't a matter of life and death, but I feel that I have been ripped off and taken advantage of so badly that I feel that I have to speak up and say something. First, when I made the appointment, they said it would only take 30 minutes and the appointment took an hour to complete and made me late for work. I couldn't spend extra time in the salon to intensely inspect my nails, and as you can see from the time stamp on the first text, I stated my complaint within a couple hours of being at the salon. Second, I had to ask Tina multiple times to correct the shape of the nail because I was not happy with how she filed them. Third, I specifically communicated to Tina to not make my nail polish too thick but she was not receptive to my requests and made it too thick anyway. If I had realized that the polish was too thick while I was still in the salon, I wouldn't have had time to have her redo all of my nails. Just for reference, when you apply gel too thick, it causes the gel to pool at the base of the nail, creating a bubbling effect that I was not able to capture in a photo, and can only really be seen in person. This may be why they thought the nail looked good in the photo, but looks chunky and poorly done in person. Because of this it, it makes me feel that the technician did not receive the proper training to be a nail technician. As for Ruby's response to my complaint, she didn't even take the time to apologize for the fact that I was not satisfied with my manicure or the work of her employee. As for her solutions, I don't feel that she made a good-faith effort to remedy the situation, being that she wanted me to pay more money to correct their mistake and that she set the expiration date 10/19/17 knowing that I will be out of town by then and would not be able to make it into the salon before I left, as you can see in text #4 and #5. This made me feel that she was offering this solution out of spit and just trying to get rid of me rather than spending the time to properly fix the situation. Had management been apologetic to the issue, taken ownership for the mistake, and made a good-faith effort to correct it, I do not believe I would have reached out to the Revdex.com. Because of my experience with this salon, I feel I have to report this poor customer service to the public so they can set their expectations if the choose to visit the salon.
