They didn't show up when they said they would. In fact they told us they would start when the ground thaws, then the beginning of May, then June, then July, and actually didn't do the job until August. I called the office to ask the receptionist what I owed and make sure that I could pay the workers so I could leave for work. She told me that "the total bill was $7500 and you paid $1200 for permits and plans so you owe $6300". I agreed, paid them and left for work before they were completely done. When I returned home from work my husband and I noticed that our 2nd car had been moved. We looked at it and there was a huge gash in the front drivers quarter panel and the front had been pulled about 6ft. I called Faragos Plumbing and asked Joe, the owner, "what happened to my car"? He responded with " my guys said they didn't do anything". I told him yes they did and I will stop the check. I called the bank and stopped payment on the check because Joe defended his guys and I was out a car. After a few days, Joe did turn it in to his insurance. They did an investigation and determined that it was the fault of Farago's guys and their equipment. The insurance company called the car totalled and settled up on the car damages. I went to settle up with Faragos Plumbing and there were additional charges of $165.00. He threatened to file a lein on my property if I don't pay these extra charges that were not on my bill the day I called to ask what I owed. I am still out a second car and Faragos Plumbing is out nothing. NOT FAIR!
