Feb 2020 I had flights through *** airlines Conf # KUCTHM. I re booked this flight to another flight September 2020 with *** Conf # PUFYJV and the credit from the 1st flight was trsf to the Sept flight. *** advertised they will be extending the credits should the flights be cancelled due to Covid 19 (with exceptions) through 2022. Since I was flying back to Alabama and Covid 19 appeared to have more exposures, I decided to cancel the flight if *** would in fact extend the cancellation time to 2022. (The original cancel date was October 8, 2020- I would have had to fly by Oct 8th). I got on the web to confirm the story I heard on the news and then clicked on what appeared to be or what I thought was the *** site. I spoke with someone who advised that YES they do the changes for ***, I would get a credit of $403.92 PLUS $291 AND this credit is good until 9-7-2022. The man I spoke with advised that due to *** being over flowing with calls, they assist, however there is a #35 per person charge to make these changes, $70 total. I agreed to make the payment as it would extend my flight time to Sept 2022 so I would not miss out and have to travel now with the Covid 19 issues. I thought all was safe and complete as they sent me an email with the confirmation.
This took place on May 20th. Today, to my surprise I received an email from *** stating that my Sept 2020 reservation is confirmed with no further action on my part? Email from FareOGlobe stated "as per our conversation and as agreed we have cancelled your reservation under Conformaton ***"....They never did cancel anything, charged me and I relied on them that my credit would be good until as they stated "09/07/2022". I called GareOGlobe, no resolve, I called *** and she said they DO NOT work with this company, and my credit WOULD not extend until 9-7-22, that it expires on 10-8-2020 and that the extention was for flights booked after March 1, 2020- and my original flight was booked 10-8-201
