March 15, 2018To Whom It May Concern:This letter is in response to the claim ?led by *** *** regarding their lodging purchase at Snowshoe Mountain for 2017/Winter SeasonSnowshoe offers travel insurance at the time of booking to every guest that stays with usThis insurance
covers many different things, illness, death etcand the buyer would need to provide proof to the insurance company if something would happen that would make them unavailable for their tripIf guest would prefer not to purchase this insurance there are penalties that apply which are stated on the confirmation and given verbally by our sales agents.The ?rst time the guest called to cancel someone in the family had the ?u and was unable to come to Snowshoe. With this initial call under our policies, they did not purchase insurance so they would have lost all money, however we were lenient and let them roll the dates to a different timeframeThen the day before arrival we receive another call stating that one of the people coming was in an automobile accident and they would not he coming inTherefore the guest states that she would try to sell the reservation to someone else.After the 2nd cancellation request, we received a call from the guests mother stating our agents were rude to her daughter and after we reviewed the calls and allowed the mother to listen to them she apologized to us for being mislead by her daughter.I feel that these customer services issues are unwarranted on this guests behalfAlthough we feel compassion for the guests situations we have gone above policies to accommodate them.Our lodging is owned by private homeowners and we have contracts and are obligated to protect their interests as wellThis guest was given the opportunity to purchase insurance which they chose not to do and this would have protected their investment.The con?rmation the guest received when booking the reservation has all of our policies clearly stated on it.Please contact me should additional information be needed.Sincerely,Denise C.Sales Center Manager

The ***'s purchased their vehicle from Willis Ford in 2014. In March of 2016, they brought their vehicle in for service to our company. We diagnosed the vehicle with a misfire caused from an Oxygen (O2) Sensor and Spark Plugs. We replaced the OSensor at a charge to them.
They declined the Spark Plugs because they had purchased the Spark Plugs from Auto Zone and installed it themselves. We advised them that the code that existed after the OSensor had been installed pointed to the Spark PlugsWe could fix the Spark Plugs but since they had the Spark Plugs purchased elsewhere, it would be an item that we would charge them for. Alternatively, they could take it back to Auto Zone. Those Spark Plugs were neither purchased at Willis Ford nor installed by us. In her complaint, she states in her last line that she fails to see the logic of our assessment. Willis Ford is sorry that the customer does not agree with our assessment but it is an assessment done by techs trained in the field of auto repair. We wish the ***'s luck and hope that they can see this from our point of view as well. The Spark Plugs and the misfire caused by those plugs were not performed at our shop. To whom it May Concern, We have tried numerous times to contact *** *** to what we could work out with the issues she has reported concerning our resort and we have not received any response. We need more information so that we can better understand what her concerns might be.Any
