BUYER BEWARE - PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE: In early June 2017, we ordered from Farm and Country Woodworks (Mike and his wife) and paid 100% in advance (their policy by the way) more than $3,for a custom kitchen nook table and some additional itemsThey promised us a 6-to-week delivery window, and now months later they still have failed to deliverThey gave us one excuse after another, and finally, when we complained (after being more than understanding about all of the delays) the owner Mike blamed us and refused to listen to our concernsIn fact, he was extremely rude, even though we were a return customer Never once has he owned his failure to honor his delivery agreements or even been remotely apologetic for his unprofessional behaviorIn fact, we have had to chase him around every promised delivery date, only to be told that it would be several more weeks, and several more weeksand then they just stopped promising delivery dates at allThis dragged on for months and months We documented every part of the exchange from beginning to end and showed him how poor we had been treated The last straw was when he promised to deliver on Nov15th, between 12:PM and 9:PM (months after we ordered.) We reached out to confirm delivery because once again we heard nothing from him, and he ignored more than messages over an almost a weekWe begged him to reply and confirmWe asked him to please honor his commitment and delivery our orderNOTHINGAfter 9:PM on Nov15th, having received zero communication from Mike, we were forced to file a fraud claim dispute with our bank Wells Fargo The people at Wells Fargo were shocked by how we were treated when we provided them with the mountain of proof about Mike and Farm and Country Woodworks terrible treatment of usThe next day (16th) after our fraud dispute posted, Mike finally sends us a message telling us; "our order was canceledwe were slandering himand we were not the kind of customers he wants to do business with." Plus, he told us we would "have to get our money back through the dispute process." We told him that we would drop the dispute if he would just deliver what was promised and paid for alreadyStill NO RESPONSE Apparently, Mike doesn't like working with people who pay fast, reorder often, and expect to actually receive what they have ordered in a timely manner Mike will very likely take your money, force you to chase him for any information, refuse to answer your inquiries in a timely and professional manner, keep delaying your delivery event, then when you complain he will likely blame youYou are nuts if you trust your hard earned money into this guy's handsYou are better off to pay a little more to a reputable providerDon't be fooled by the cheap pricesyou will pay for it one way or the other

We were so excited to fill our 1st home with a beautiful table for our large family to sit togetherMy husband said I could order exactly what I wanted because it would be my Mother's Day giftI finally received my Mother's Day gift- in AUGUSTI should have seen the red flags in the beginningThe review feature on their Facebook page is disabledOnly good reviews (testimonials) are on their web pageEven the one review I found later on Yelp was under the not recommended reviewsAlso, on the Revdex.com website they have a D gradeThis company never picks up their phoneThe only way I could communicate with them was over Facebook messengerEven then it was like pulling teeth and walking on egg shells when I spoke to themWe paid upfront so they had our money and our tableBecause of other reviews (the one under not recommended on Yelp) I was scared to say how we truly felt because they could just run with our money and tableI tried to get reviews on Facebook by sharing their page and I got quite the snooty message from the companySo we stayed quiet until we received our productThe first deadline was 6-weeks from the day of order (May 5th), which was fine with usThen after weeks, there was another week delay, then more weeks, then another week delayThen finally it was supposed to be delivered 8/and because there was a 10% chance of rain, they rescheduled for MondayThen Monday came along and they rescheduled AGAIN for the following dayThey said it would arrive between 10-Then at 12:I FB messaged them saying that something has to be doneI finally received my first phone call from their delivery lady saying she will be arriving no later than 2pmWe rescheduled so many days to have help to bring the table, benches and chairs in that this time we had lost hope and I was home alone with the babiesTheir policy is curb side delivery onlyHowever, their delivery lady was so nice, she unloaded everything (with only the help of her elementary school aged son and myself- good thing my infant was napping) into our garageSo after they left, I had to bring it all in by myselfI didn't have help because my husband couldn't take any more time off work chancing that it would possibly be delayed yet againNow it's in our home and it is lovelyThe product is off the chartsHowever, the service is absolutely terribleThey need to have open honest lines of communication and I bet they would have much happier clienteleThe only thing I will tell anyone asking about this company is if you have money to burn and time to kill and the patience of a saint then sure, use this companyI have none of those things so I will not be interested in using them again- even for a doghouseCheers!

Purchased furniture from company a was told it would be delivered before thanksgiving Half of the order ( Table and bench was delivered)Was told that chairs were behind and would be delivered at a later dateHave documentation of all the contact I have had with company After the table and bench were delivered we could not get ahold of the companyTried to contact numerous times! After two months of trying to contact we finally received an email stating that they weren't making chairs anymore and that if we wanted a refund we had to dispute with our bank! We have documentation of the break down of prices on the items and are owed $dollars and tax!

I am writing to let you know my credit card has refunded my money for the complaint # above. Thank you very much for your time!*** ***Sent from Yahoo Mail for iPhone

I ordered a table and bench from Farm & Country, they told me it would be 8weeks before it was ready and I was fine with that I told them as long as I have it for Thanksgiving, because I’m hosting my Family and Friends at my houseI barely heard from them once they got my money, but did get them a couple of times and they assured me it would be ready by Thanksgiving but not the weeks we had discussed, which was fine with me because it was only going to be weeksI got an e-mail saying they were behind on scheduling and that my table & bench would be on a truck for delivery Novor In the 21st I receive an e-mail saying it would be Novbetween 8am-9pm with a one hour call ahead before delivery, because they had many deliveries to makeAt 6:I gave a call just to check, but no answer and no call backAt 8:39pm I called again and no answer, no call backAfter that I called several times and left messages every timeI messaged them on Facebook and no answer

I entered into a sales contract with Farm and Country Woodworks, and its *** *** ***, on 9/29/when I purchased a custom dining room table set for $with the understanding my dining set would be delivered on approximately 11/24/Beginning on 11/9/I began to send Mr*** correspondence via email and/or Facebook Messenger inquiring about the delivery date for my order Additionally, correspondence via Facebook Messenger was sent on 11/29/17, 12/5/17, 12/9/17, 12/11/17, 12/16/17, 12/22/17, and 12/23/Correspondence was sent via email on 11/30/17, 12/9/17, 12/11/17, 12/15/17, 12/16/17, 12/22/17, 12/23/inquiring about the delivery date for my orderI also left multiple voice mail messages at the phone number provided to me *** While my ordered was originally to be delivered on or about 11/24/17, I received messages from Mr*** extending the delivery date to 12/2/17, 12/9/17, and lastly 12/23/The last correspondence I received from Mr*** was

In mid Feb I contacted this company who advertised in our local area on Craigslist for custom made furniture I contacted him regarding a custom made dining set and on Feb I placed the order The requirement was for payment in FULL upon ordering, and my receipt states that the set would be delivered in 4-weeks I made one change to this order where I made the table a SMALLER size to accommodate the space in my new home In March I contacted him via email and was told that because of the change I made, the order would be now pushed to 'later in April' After hearing nothing I contacted him late April and was told that the order was now pushed more weeks and that I was confirmed to receive my set May or
On May I attempted to contact him to have a delivery time set with no reply On the 10th I contacted him again, explained that I had taken TWO days off of work to be home when the delivery would come Still no reply Only after an admittedly harsh phone me

Appealing customer service and deceptive advertising
We order two full table and chair sets along with barstools for our new homeWe are first time home owners with no furniture and it was made clear to the seller that we needed these items by a particular date because we were having family to visit and had nowhere for anyone to sit and eatWith a 4-week order time we should have had time to spareIf we had known up front it would take over months to get our items we would have gone elsewhereAs it was the items were not ready by the promised window and we ended up having to purchase and additional table/chair set just so or family had somewhere to set and eatAs new homeowners that was an expense we could really not afford at that time
Delay after delay occurred but we did finally get the itemsHowever they were sent to us on the back of a pickup because the seller couldn’t organize a truck, and because only one set at a time would fit on a pickup we had to pay two delivery charges of $each even though they were ready at the same time
Owners were very difficult to get ahold of and very unprofessionalI had to chase them for info after supposed shipping dates came and went without any word
Also I have just been sent evidence by another annoyed customer that apparently they don’t even make the furniture like they advertise that they doIn the email that they had sent to this other customer they in their own words stated that they got the furniture from a distributor and just assembled and stain it!!! They are charging for locally handmade items so this is blatant advertisingIt’s probably some cheap Alibaba junk from China
We were trying to support local businesses but now just feel taken advantage of
