I cancelled my home ins. and car ins. Farm Bureau we were to get back $*** but they only sent *** and used the rest to pay my inlaws ins. bill
I cancelled my ins. on *** and started new ins. *** Farm Bureau told me I would be getting a check for *** but now they said I would only be getting *** I called and had them explain this to me. they made up a long story about where the money had gone. and come to find out they used my home escrow money to pay my father inlaws ins. bill that was due. Our ins. was under an umbrella plan (thats what they call it) with my inlaws. but I called and had my home and cars cancelled on the date due and when I called them to ask about the money shorted they said they couldnt explain it to me. I then told them that I know that they used my escrow money to pay his bill because they knew it would be a fight to get payment from him. and Farm Bureau agreed and said that is why they did it. I want my full refund that is illegal what they did and need to be investigated for it. they should bill *** (my father inlaw) for what he owes Farm Bureau. not take my already paid escrow to pay his ins. Farm Bureau also tried charging me for 3 day ins. that wasn't mine to pay and I told them that I had cancelled and I sent them the paper work showing cancelled ins proof and I had to explain that if they charge me the that is double coverage and they could be held liable for double covering me. they agreed to fix it so they wouldnt get in trouble and to look at the documents and the dates more closely. If they Farm Bureau wants their money then they should fight him or bill him for it. I did everything correctly in cancelling and im being penalized for his bill. My house payment is now raised because of this mess with Farm Bureau. they told me to go fight my father inlaw for the money. they know what they have done is wrong and *** at Farm Bureau even said "it was not right and didnt make sense" *** has done his best to help me and try to get answers from the higher up but says he cant do any more. So it is sad and makes me mad that even other people understand what im telling them but Farm Bureau one of the biggest Ins. Companies would do something so low. Farm bureau needs to be investigated for this and 3 other ins. companies have agreed. thanks for reading this. Lindsey ***

His office worker *** was so rude to our new ins. agent when he called and sent the ins. docs she wanted. she told me on the phone she needed the new proof of ins. docs and when he sent them to her she said " well I dont even think this will help them get their money back"
