I was informed by my loan officer - the night before the closing - that my monthly payments are now 50% higher than I was lead to believe. His mistake, he admits it. I have the emails and signed contracts to prove it.
The bank should honor our first agreement for which I have signed contracts. My budget will not sustain these payments for long. This is for land to build on that I feel I was forced to close on yesterday. Earnest money and non-refundable 10% down on house construction had already been payed. What was I to do? lose $10,000 and the land?
I called and talked to a regional manager. His remedy - Payments won't start until April 1. I sincerely hope you can help me work with the bank for the original agreement to be honored.
Farm Credit of the Virginias received the complaint from the above mentioned customer on 2/25/20. FCV then immediately tried contacting the customer and investigating the events surrounding the customer dissatisfaction. After our investigation and contact with the customer, we have arrived at a resolution that is agreeable to the customer and FCV. FCV takes our customer concerns seriously and works to make sure we are providing customer service at a high level.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. This has been resolved.
