On 1/**/15, ** *** purchased one pound of turkey from our deli department which she had to orderWe also have the policy posted at the deli in clear visibility for all customers to readShe returned later on
that evening to return the meat but when the front end *** told her that she can't return itShe seemed upset with the ***s response and then she said how the meat is bad & he then told her that she may go and speak with the *** *** who sold her the meat she orderedAfter she spoke to the *** *** she returned to speak with front end ***She seemed displeased with the response she had gottenShe did say that she was gonna write a letter to the Revdex.com plus she took pictures of the store from the outside plus later on she called the store and spoke to the head cashier about the return policy on the receipt but it doesn't apply to the deli section,Reason being as I stated earlier in this letter that it's posted at the deli sectionI strongly believe that she is lying that the meat was bad ,she's jus upset that the *** was a little rude towards her when she wasn't understanding what he was saying to her about the policyBottom line the meat was not bad at all !!!!

Well I am responding to the the recent letter from the customer regarding this matter.I am sorry but my boss is not willing to giver her a full refund for the cold cuts. His reason are very simple, we had no other customers that had any problems with the cold cuts in question plus on that specific date.The [redacted] that spoke with the customer checked the cold cuts plus the [redacted] checked it as well & stated for the record that it wasn't bad. Unfortunately for the customer I know that this isn't what she wants to hear. I hope that she will continue to shop in the local store after this matter .

Review: On 1/**/15, I purchased one pound of honey turkey from the deli section at Farmboy Country Market. When I arrived home to use the turkey, I noticed it did not smell good. I returned to the market and spoke to the [redacted] on the floor and told him the meat did not smell good, he said immediately we do not issue returns on meat and waved his hands and started to walk away. I stopped him and said, that I did not like how he was treating me as a customer, and that I was not trying to just return the meat but that I thought it smelled bad. He just continued to say he would not return it and did not bother to look at the meat or smell it. When he saw that I would not let up, he told me to go to the deli section and talk to them. I went to the deli section and the guy just told me that he did not understand what I was saying by the meat smelling bad and that his meat was fresh. Both the person at the deli and the [redacted] on the floor was very disrespectful and dismissive towards me. When I came home, I noticed on the receipt it states, Returns must be made within 7 days of purchase. Meat, Produce and Dairy within 24 hours. I called the location back and asked why did they tell me that I could not return the meat when the receipt says that I can? A lady answered the phone and said that did not apply to deli meat. This establishment is disrespectful and misleading. I have provided pictures of the receipt as well. It is absolutely unacceptable that any person that has concerns about their purchase, especially fresh meat, should be handled with such disregard. If I was treated with this much disregard, I am sure this is not the first occurrence.Desired Settlement: The resolve that I would like is for the $9.21 that I spent to be returned. Also the business practices of this establishment should be examined.
