Our labeled burger tags have a section on them that says "Net Wt/Ct 1", the does not correspond to net weight, it corresponds to label countWe understand how this customer could have been confused by this, and due to this situation, we will clarify our packaging labels so there can be no confusion with future orders We did make a request from the customer to bring in multiple packages of their burger to verify that they were not the requested weight of one pound eachThe customer did bring in one package that was one and a half pounds, however, there is almost always a couple larger packages leftover at the end of the grinding processThis is why we asked for multiple packs to be brought in, so with that there is no way to prove that there was a mistake made on our part We charge $0.02/lb (on total hanging weight) extra for processing an order as one pound packsThe hanging weight on this beef was pounds resulting in $+ tax on that amount of extra charges on their billWe are willing to refund the $+ tax to resolve this issue We should not be held responsible for our customers privately reselling their product after our transaction with them has closed (as in this case)

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: I was not asked to bring in multiple packages, but I am certainly willing to do so to show that they were marked incorrectly A woman, I think Joe's wife, saw the package I took in and told me it was clearly marked incorrectly I sent Joe a picture of the package via text and included it in the letter of complaint.Sincerely,*** ***

We did make a request from the customer to bring in multiple packages of their burger to verify that they were not the requested weight of one pound each. The customer did bring in one package that was one and a half pounds, however, there is almost always a couple larger packages leftover at the end of the grinding process. This is why we asked for multiple packs to be brought in, so with that there is no way to prove that there was a mistake made on our part.
We charge $0.02/lb (on total hanging weight) extra for processing an order as one pound packs. The hanging weight on this beef was 1076 pounds resulting in $21.52 + tax on that amount of extra charges on their bill. We are willing to refund the $21.52 + tax to resolve this issue.
We should not be held responsible for our customers privately reselling their product after our transaction with them has closed (as in this case).
