Review: [redacted] did not repair the vehicle, delivered product unfinished although he was paid as agreed in writing on time and now in full. The Vehicle was returned, [redacted] Farmer became hostile and threatening stating no one could force him to fix the vehicle and did not repair it. He misrepresented noise being a muffler and it is from his incomplete repair which would cause thousands of dollars of additional damage if not repaired. He tried to convince me to drive it for a while, knowing I have children and could break down. [redacted] Farmer had the vehicle for almost 3 months after he was paid stating he had other cars to work on, the vehicle cost him too much money, he had to pay two people to repair the vehicle, especially after he received money he would not show up to work. He ordered parts that were not needed. He put silicone on a part that needed to be replaced which was under warranty which was unsafe to my children. The first time, he put a piece of plastic instead of the proper seal. The repair begain at $2875, ended at $3345. He promised to give official warranty information from the source of purchase after I made final payment 3/4/2014. He promised to release vehicle in January having received most of the money. After the first payment of $2100 check, he demanded cash. He held the car while others told me when I went to check on the vehicle that he was ripping me off and promised the warranty info. On 2/22/14 he refused to give the information to me showing the purchase price of the engine and the mileage. He and his wife were hollering and screaming and hostile because they thought I was stupid. They were extremely disrespectful and did not treat me like a customer or a human being. Their behavior was abusive and the lying to take money from my children's mouths egregious. Because of the way this was done, my family has been hungry for most of the winter. I had to use the money to move with to buy a car because [redacted] Farmer kept putting me off and I was in a rental. We are not near a bus line so I could not go without transportation and have children to care for.Desired Settlement: I have been unable to use the vehicle for 3 months. My money is gone and this has caused my children and I to become homeless and without use of the vehicle. I need the money back to fix the vehicle with someone ethical. I am requesting help getting all of the money back before consulting the media with my children and the living condition he has caused. I have receipts for rental vehicle and having to stay in a hotel thinking the vehicle would be completed when he said and I could have used the money to get an apartment. He took advantage of me and my children. I hope this could get resolved without the entire country seeing what he has caused. Also , [redacted] began stating he had a sick wife, he had other cars, he had a daughter in a domestic dispute, he had health problems, he had to pay two people..just putting me off. He is located at [redacted] now. He stated he has IRS problems and demanded $800 cash to release the vehicle on the 4th and back dated the receipt to the 3rd of February. He said he didn't want people like the government knowing his business. I would request this be pointed out that the government will be involved if my money is not returned expeditiously. I need my vehicle for my children. I have two shops who have documented the engine was not properly installed and replaced. The front rear pinion seal also was not and the air conditioning was not repaired. He charged me to put an air compressor in the vehicle that was not needed, then stated I need to change the line and he would charge me later. He installed a cigarette lighter in another vehicle and charged $45. The problem was not the lighter, it was merely a fuse. I have another shop who can verify that as well. I am asking for a refund of the incompleted job, to pay someone to do it right, refund of the $610 car rental and the gas going back and forth every other day for him making up excuses why he was not going to repair the vehicle and then telling me I can't make him and if I don't give him all the money, he would keep it locked up knowing it was not repaired. I also need the warranty information from the source of purchase.
