Review: I spoke to represenatives of Farmingdale Motors on three different occasions. First on the phone I asked the sales represenative if the sales price included ANY other payments or fees or was the price advertised truly the price of the car. I was assured the price advertised was the final price. My wife and I went to the dealer and when we arrived the sales man said the price assumed a $2,000 down payment. We explained we were told the price advertised was the final price and the sales man agreed to honor the price listed on-line. We agreed to pay full asking price of vehicle but would have to return on the weekend when we had more time. Prior to our third trip to Farmingdale Motors we called and spoke to the sales man again to confirm the price and make sure we were all clear on the purchase price. We arrived at Farmingdale Motors. When we were in the process of trying to purchase the car the sales man first tried to have us sign a blank sales contract. When we refused we were taken in to see the owner/Business manager who went over the terms of the deal. He said the price of the car DID assume a $2,000 down payment PLUS an $1,800 processing fee.

Complete and utter waste of time and effort.Desired Settlement: It is my desire to warn others of the unscrupulous actions of this dealership and hope that some other people to not get tricked into overpaying for a vehicle that they thought was one price but end up paying another. I hope this business will work in a manor that is honest and upfront with its customer. Not sneaky and dishonest as was my experience. I would hope that this dealership will stop wasting the time of the customer by advertising vehicles they are unwilling to sell at the advertised price
