This company installed a heater that did not work and had code violations. The heater could not even be plugged in. The flue vent was touching dry wall in several areas. The ducts were not installed properly and were not fully insulated as required. We asked for a whole house heater and received one that only had vents going to half the house. They changed the design without consulting us. We ended up having to cut out the heater and go with another business. We have made repeated calls to resolve the issue and can get the right person to call us back. Then they sent us a bill for the whole amount.

Anthony R met with ***, the homeowner's representative on site at residence located at *** in Aztec, New Mexico on July 19, 2017. A written proposal (number ***) was sent to *** on July 23, 2017. When *** came into our office to sign the proposal on July 25th, she had Anthony modify the proposal to change the location of the installed furnace. The attached Proposal ***A was signed by *** for the installation of a new Carrier furnace and duct system. Work commenced August 1, 2017. *** sent *** photographs of the work being performed. *** then ordered Farmington Heating & Metal to cease work at the residence and removed *** from representing her for the project. Anthony R, our salesman, met with *** on site on September 28, 2017 to discuss the installation and possible resolutions to her concerns, which we are not knowledgeable of in entirety due to the lack of communication with the customer. A revised proposal was sent to *** on October 12th detailing the installation revisions as discussed on site. *** responded to us on October 18, 2017 via phone to decline the proposal and stated that she wanted her relationship with our company to end. She wanted to know if we would pick up the furnace or if she could drop it off at our office, and told Anthony that she had hired another company to install a completely different HVAC system. The customer never made contact with officers. or owners of Farmington Heating & Metal to resolve the situation. We would like to note that with full communication, Farmington Heating & Metal would have modified the proposed installation to fully satisfy the customer. Several phone calls were made to *** during this time, with no answer on her end and no calls returned. A final attempt to contact *** was made on November 15th, 2017 to resolve the issues, and there was no answer on her cell phone and voicemail was full.

1. Farmington Heating & Metal will refund your $4,708.60 deposit and mail you a check to ***.
2. Farmington Heating & Metal will not pursue collections from you or your representative on this project.
3. You will deliver or have delivered the furnace in the referenced proposal to our office in new condition within the next couple of days.
4. You will contact the Revdex.com and clear this complaint with no prejudice against FH&M.
