In response to Complaint ID [redacted] , 3-8-by [redacted] & [redacted] ***.Please note the following corrections to Mr & Mrs [redacted] statement as if fails to report the correct facts and informationTo clarify: Farr Automotive Specialist has been in business in the Gallatin Valley for over years We pride ourselves in fair, honest, professional serviceWe welcome and prefer that any customer to our facility who has a concern come in and discuss any and all problems with us We are a busy auto repair shop and are usually scheduled out a few days to a week We do try our very best to be accommodating to our customers, be first time customers or loyal long term customersMr [redacted] states he's appalled and absolutely fed up with our company Our current records do not show Mr & Mrs [redacted] every being customers here.#1- week ago - Yes [redacted] *** called for a quote on a Jeep Cherokee heater core repair from our shop NOTE [redacted] Mrs [redacted] stated that the heater core has not been working for past month/ + and that they had cut the hoses and bypassed the heater core because it was not working She spoke with owner [redacted] Farr, a quote/estimate on the needed repair for heater core, was given approximately $ Note: As with all our repairs we must diagnosis and confirm needed repairs, then we discuss repair and cost with our customers [redacted] did not schedule at this time3-08- 10:41AM Phone [redacted] [redacted] called to schedule appointment for heater core repairWanted it done ASAP Stated to her that we are scheduling for week of March 14th, customer wanted in sooner Our Secretary checked with our Service Writer on scheduling sooner Per Service writer we could schedule the [redacted] repair on 3-9-thru 3-10-and to make her aware that we needed the vehicle for at least days Explained to [redacted] that this job is a 7-hour job and that parts would need to be ordered If any additional parts were needed because of the previously mentioned customer bypass those parts may also need to be ordered in once a proper diagnosis was made [redacted] Note: Parts are ordered from suppliers or dealership and can take 1- several days to get in Customer was made aware of this[redacted] stated that she did not want to keep the appointment and cancelled/ declined to come in for repair Mrs [redacted] was not hung up on by our secretary nor was she disrespected, treated rudely, violated in any way On the contrary the secretary was the individual who was violated by the phone calls which [redacted] followed with.3-08-11:17AM 600- [redacted] ***Mr [redacted] called and did not give his name then verbal abused our secretary: his statement " You were just RUDE to my wife -you "***" ! and then he hung up on the secretary" 11:21AM 600- [redacted] ***Mr [redacted] called back again , again did not identify himself- this time [redacted] Farr the owner answered the phone Mr [redacted] wanted to talk to the manager to file a complaint on the secretary [redacted] explained that he was the owner [redacted] stated "Even better and made a remark about how rude the secretary was to his wifeWhen [redacted] questioned Mr [redacted] on his earlier remark to the secretary and how inappropriate his abusive language was , Mr ***'s remark was " I don't give a [redacted] and I don't care if I hurt anyone's feelings" Mr ***'s abusive language continued throughout the conversation Mr [redacted] stated "Ill come in there and punch you in the mouth" at this point [redacted] hung up on Mr ***If anyone should be appalled it is the staff at Farr Automotive

My wife called to schedule a heater core replacement, earlier in the week she had got a quote and we had decided it was a fair priceShe called to schedule the appointment and the lady at the front desk was very rude, mean, and disrespectful and hung up on my wifeMy wife was shocked, felt violated and is now cryingI called and talked to the owner and he told me to go [redacted] myself and his employees would never do thatI told him he should sit down and talk with her and he laughed and started cussing at me and hung upI am absolutely fed up with this companyThey are rude, scandals and need to be reported for there behavior

Was given an estimate of $and it ended up costing close to $and things were done to my truck I never requested and did not consent tooWas never asked if I was willing to spend that much and fought off guard.mthe front desk person I swear said $and thought that was a little high but was okay with it then I saw the receipt and almost $and was flabergasted

Good evening,I'm sorry I couldn't see the response, wasn't showing up on my computer for awhile, finally saw it. I reject their response, they misspelled several words and said I picked it up in the year 2018, this lack of attention to detail supports my complaint in every way, I said Francis called me but he said nothing of more expense, he said he needed to locate gaskets for the turbo but nothing about more money just longer time until he would get to it, the facts are they never asked if it was okay to up the price point and I never asked for an air filter or any of the extra work, I'm cannabilizing a diesel truck to restore the F250 in question, I had everything to do the work but glow plugs and that was all I needed, no more no less, just what I requested, I sent an email asking for this and then called and asked for this, they took advantage of me and my good nature and are now lying to fit their story, that's not how things work. I asked for a service and they did things I did not request and then tried to push it past me but I noticed and reported them and now they are upset. I only asked for glow plugs and that is the bottom line. Also my glow plugs that I went in to get installed at this establishment have ceased working, maybe drove the truck 60 miles and started it up 5 times, I would like the money they ripped my off of, Francis called but he never mentioned more money or asked if it was okay, I have worked with a lot of mechanics and that is pretty common practice, the whole thing irritates me and disgusts me as a patron, as an American and as a veteran, don't like being taken advantage of or lied to or deceived, don't like the way they talked to me or how disrespectful and they're language in regards to me being of Jewish decent, the entire situation made me feel gross. Thank you for your time and I hope some good comes of this.

They are rude, scandals and need to be reported for there behavior.Desired Settlement: I would like to see the owner of Far automotive in Bozeman,mt called and be informed his business has been reported and that his actions are not tolerated in this community. IV lived here for 23 years, I am apoled.
