I sought legal action from an attorney there by the name of *** ***I was seeking legal advice for a family law caseTogether we decided that an Agreement of Child Support and Custody document would suffice for my needsThis document was to be drawn up and filed through the court systemIn total I paid the firm $for this to take placeI called the firm to speak with *** *o ask her some general questions and found out that not only did she quit, she did not file the document that I paid to have her file through the court systemI spoke with an attorney there by the name of *** ***Since none of the other attorneys handle family law there, all they could do for me was recommend other attorneysI told Mr*** that I would like to have my money back, considering that I paid for a service that was not providedHe was hesitant to give anything back to me at allHe did finally agree on only $of the $I did pick up the money and my fileMy mother called on my behalf trying to get them to agree to give me a full refund, considering that what they were charging me for was not validThe promises that were made were not providedThis document was drawn up and signed in May of This whole time I thought that it had been filed through the court system and had weight to itIt is in now January of and I just now found out that was never completedThey told my mother they would not even speak with her because they did not represent herThey were extremely rudeI called them and told them they had my permission to speak with her and they were very rude to meThey said that since she was not my attorney it did not matter to them if I gave my permission they were not going to speak with her and they were not going to give me the remainder of the fundsI think this firm is corrupt and I am making a formal complaint about themIt is unfair what was done to me and how I was treated
