At this time, I have been contacted directly by Fashion For Charity regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
0in 10pt;" class="MsoNormal">The business contacted me and offered a partial refund of $500, which was the cost of the Coco ticket tier, the one below what I selected (Icon). I declined this partial refund on the grounds that the agenda for Coco ticket holders did not happen either. Coco guests were to partake in the VIP reception together with Icon ticket holders, and no reception occurred. Instead, all guests waited and wandered aimlessly for over an hour until drinks were served at the dinner tables. Therfore, refunding me to the Coco level isn't applicable. I offered to accept a partial refund of $650, down to the general admission ticket level, as that was the experience which was provided.  The company said no to that, and I currently awaiting the outcome of the contested charge with my credit card company. The company representative who contacted me, [redacted], said she volunteered her services to assist with the event and admitted that no one there had experience producing an event prior to this one.

Review: The Fashion For Charity Gala which [redacted] held on April **, 2015 was a ripoff. The event agenda that was advertised on the organizations website: [redacted] did not occur during the event at all. Therefore I did not receive the services that I paid for.I purchased the ICON level ticket (2 VIP tickets for $750) and attended the event with a guest. The following agenda stated on the organizations website for ICON ticket holders simply did not occur at the event: VIP reception | Acknowledgement in event program | Backstage Access | Front Row | Press Interview | Press Photo Opp-There was no reception whatsoever! Only round dinner tables that we sat at all night from start to finish.-There was no event program.-There was no front row at the fashion show, we were sitting at the same round dinner tables that we sat at all night.-There was no backstage access.-I just happen to know one of the press photographers present at the event, and it was he who invited me to take a picture, that is the only reason I was able to partake in the press photo opp as there were no staff directing VIPS to take photos and the photographers werent interested in snapping shots of anyone but the quasi-celebrities.-No press interview whatsoever.-The event hosts which the organization advertised as [redacted] and [redacted], did not show up until circa 10pm. The New York Post Page Six reported on the fact that [redacted] showed up at the tail end of the event in their April **, 2015 issue.-The event was completely un-organized and ran very late from the beginning the event actually started at 8:40pm over an hour past the advertised 7pm start time leaving guests bored and confused, wandering around attempting to figure out what was going on with no staff directing traffic.-No coat check, no guest check-in, no staff advising guests, no one running the event: The [redacted], did not arrive until the event was almost over.-No bar we waited over an hour for drinks to be available and once they were I have never seen drinks handled so poorly - the staff who had no idea what to do - they provided just one watered down featured cocktail for the night with no other beverage options to choose from, and then the cheapest wine when that cocktail ran out 1 hour later - lousy catering staff who did not clear plates from those rubbery hor doeuvres to the yucky main course the tables were left with dirty plates from each course all night.-I was severely embarrassed in front of my guest.Desired Settlement: A refund in full is due. The Fashion For Charity Gala operated by [redacted] is a fraud, scamming people out of their money by not providing the services they advertised for the tickets purchased. I have contacted the business with this matter and have not received a response back. Instead, [redacted] obtained private pictures that my guest took of me the night of the event and posted them to his social media without my consent with captions that advertised the event. I would like those pictures removed and a full refund received immediately.
