more attempts to contact the customer and she finally responded on June that she wanted to wait for the itemOn August we advise the customer the manufacture had not met the projected ship date and offered the customer a refund again and advise the projected ship date was estimated to be September 14thWe once again sent an “Action Required” email needing approval of the additional delayOnce again we received no responseOn September 10th we sent another request that these were ready but were looking for her approval before shippingOn September 19th she contact us via live chat and we advise her of the status and this item was waiting on her approval to shipBut she never gave us approval -- disconnecting from chat with no responseOn September 29th she sent an email saying she was filing a complaint with the Revdex.comThe problem being this customer continually failed to communicate with usThe customer has already been refunded via their *** account after her September 29th emailWe actually offered this customer a refund not less than times

I have been a customer for over two years now and very happy. I have a trade account with them and make all my purchases online. Fast response via email but even better, I love the live chat service--Saturday and Sunday night live chat! Unlike other live chat from other websites, they have knowledgeable professional staff and can even give me my order status and handle returns right on live chat--no calls, no waiting. I have purchased many [redacted] products from them great quality. I recently purchased three large furniture items for a client in New York City--I received free white glove delivery for this large purchase and it was a great no hassle solution. My client is happy and I am happy.

The manufacture shipped this item without an outlet. The customer as offered the part but then requested a refund. As he said he purchased a 3rd party outlet and installed it.Next the customer came back and did not want the refund. (Which was then reversed) And the customer wanted to wait for the...

part.In the meantime manufacture codes changed. And they could no longer offer this part as a replacement to meet local codes the outlet had to be welded to the post. The customer had already installed the item so it was not possible to return for a replacement.We offered the customer a 3rd part replacement outlet or a $100 refund (well about the value of the $30 outlet).The customer has now accepted the Refund. This matter has been resolved.

We made 2 more attempts to contact the customer and she finally responded on June 28 that she wanted to wait for the item. On August 16 we advise the customer the manufacture had not met the projected ship date and offered the customer a refund again and advise the projected ship date was estimated to be September 14th. We once again sent an “Action Required” email needing approval of the additional delay. Once again we received no response. On September 10th we sent another request that these were ready but were looking for her approval before shipping. On September 19th she contact us via live chat and we advise her of the status and this item was waiting on her approval to ship. But she never gave us approval -- disconnecting from chat with no response. On September 29th she sent an email saying she was filing a complaint with the Revdex.com. The problem being this customer continually failed to communicate with us. The customer has already been refunded via their [redacted] account after her September 29th email. We actually offered this customer a refund not less than 5 times.

Review: I purchased two matching lamps from [redacted] and when they arrived on July 8, 2013, one of the two lampshades was significantly damaged. I notified [redacted] the same day, including photos of the damaged shade (per their policies). On July 26, I was informed that a new shade was on order for me but would take 6-8 weeks to arrive. On October 16, I sent a follow-up email to the same customer service agent ([redacted]), but did not receive a reply. On October 23, I used the "Live Chat" feature on [redacted] to connect with a customer service agent. [redacted] responded and after I explained that waiting for so long was quite inconvenient and that I must insist on returning BOTH lamps (they were purchased as a matching set), I was told that "You have had these a very long time way past the return period" and that "I [[redacted]] will not be able to accept these back without the original boxes". I had long ago disposed of the boxes, believing that my replacement shade was coming within 6-8 weeks (in addition, one of the two boxes arrived crushed on one side, making it unusable as a protective return box). On October 24, I received an email from [redacted] indicating that the replacement lamp would ship in about a week. It is now November 19 and I have not received it. I followed the damage claim policies described on [redacted]'s website, waited in good faith for the promised replacement. However, nearly 4.5 months later, it is simply acceptable that my purchase has not been "made whole" and, further, that [redacted] is refusing to allow me to return the lamps. To date, I still have not received the replacement shade.Desired Settlement: I would like [redacted] to immediately accept a return of the TWO lamps I purchased from them, which were bought as a pair, and issue a full refund of my original purchase price. I would also ask that they waive the usual 15% re-stocking fee, as I followed their policies regarding filing a damage claim and have, in good faith, waited for 4.5 months for a replacement shade.
