Review: I purchased a wig from Fashion Plus on. I went back on 12-21-15, to exchange the wig and get another wig, because of certain situations with the wig. The owner ask me to look at the signs because she had been in that area for 23 yrs. I told her the signs say one thing, but the receipt says something else. The owner indicated I could not bring the wig back, because all wigs were final sells. I asked her why does the receipt I have from the wig, indicated No refund, but you exchange the wig within the 1-3 days. She indicated the receipt for the wig it does not apply. I mentioned to her, maybe she needs to do another receipt for the wigs, instead of the receipt that I have that says No refund, but can exchange in 1-3 days. I told her maybe she needs to do a different receipt for the wigs, that say "final sell for wigs". She indicated ok, but I don't think she's going to do that.Desired Settlement: I would like for someone from Revdex.com to contact me for the results.

In response to the customer complaint received on December 2016, Fashion Plus has a strict no return policy on wigs. This policy, which is stated on the customer's receipt as well as signage on our register upon checkout, was enacted to protect the hygiene and safety of our customers. We require that customer's purchase a wig cap, again for hygiene and safety purposes, if they wish to try on a wig prior purchase. Once a wig is purchased and the customer leaves our premises, we have no way of knowing whether the wig has been worn with a wig cap. We're sorry that there is nothing more we can do for the customer but we must maintain this policy for the safety of all of our customers.Regards,[redacted]Owner Fashion Plus

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I am responding, because the receipt says You can return Items within the next 3 days. In the store she has a policy that says wigs cannot be returned. As, I mentioned to her, the wigs if can't be returned, they need to be applied on a different receipt. If you have a receipt that says wigs can't be returned, then that would be something different. The receipt I have says anything can be returned with in three days. So, therefore, the receipt and the posting in the store says 2 different things. I asked her to change her receipt issues for the wigs, but evidently that's not going to happen.
