purposes. I personally went on the [redacted] web page and pulled off the guarantee before the fire to give to the customer. She did not honor any of the information. The bag was a FAKE. Who in their right mind would void a warranty from [redacted] and get a original cut down to a small purse. We advised her if the purse was authentic the company replace it for free. All the customer had to do was send the bag back to the [redacted] company for replacement so we were trying to understand if the bag was real WHY was she coming to have it cut down by our seamstress. She wanted the entire bag cut down to a smaller bag with what ever part of the fabric could be salvaged. When the business burned down due to the Ferguson Riots, the entire business was a lost. I don't feel as though I should replace a [redacted] bag for her as her bag was a FAKE. I'v been in business for 29 years because I have always treated my customers with respect and fairly. My business was built on honesty and integrity.
Furthermore, I refunded all the customers for lost alterations that presented valid tickets within the specified time allocated. This customer just recently presented her lost to us 11 months after the fire. The fire was November 24, 2014. Remember we did not have a record of anything that was in the store. The fire was a total lost to me.
