Ordered photos on November [redacted], promised photos in hand within 2-4 weeks. 4 weeks went by, was told only after I called to inquire that pictures were sent back because they were not happy with retouching. I was also told that I would have pictures before Christmas. Was called late afternoon on 12/** to be told pictures are in. My drive there is an hour. Picked up photos today, 12/**- retouching is horrible!!!!!! when I questioned saleswoman, she acted like she was stupid, rather than being helpful. I will never recommend this business to anyone, rather I will make sure people steer clear!

Review: In January I went to fashions with a prepaid groupon for a photo session. After the session the photographer and I went through the photos. At the time I felt the high pressure to purchase prints at a VERY high cost. I believe to make up the cost of the groupon session. I was never told that there were no refunds if I didn't like the prints, etc. she added the prints to my groupon receipt, which just happens to have hidden in the fine print, no refund. I went to pick up the my groupon print and review the other prints. I did not like them, I asked for a refund and was told that because they put the time into the session I could not get a refund. I don't understand because the "time" was part of the groupon I bought, NOT for printing 4, yes 4 prints at $500. I can't get the owner to call me. I feel scammed, and hurt by this company. Because of their unethical practices I'm out $500 for pictures I do not have.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund for photos I do not have. Fashion shots has the photos as I did not like them and now after so much time I don't want them, and can't afford them any longer.

Review: I purchased a groupon for a photo shoot, which included one photo. After the photo shoot I felt pressured to purchase a photo package. The paperwork I signed states that I have 48 hours to cancel. I left a $223 deposit and set up a payment plan. I called within the 48 hours to cancel. I was told by the [redacted] that there are no refunds or cancelations and the 48 hour cancelation policy is for appointments. The paperwork does not clearly state what can or can not be canceled in the 48 hours. I have been trying for 3 months to speak to the [redacted] to come to a resolution. I have not got a call back. I physically went to the business with a police escort to try to come to a resolution. [redacted] was not there but was called and per the policeman that was with me she told him I did not cancel in time. That is not true and I have phone records to prove it. I contacted groupon and the business [redacted] told groupon that she could no longer provide me with the services . She is hoping my groupon picture hostage because I ordered a package that I want to cancel. Groupon has refunded me the cost of the groupon I purchased. This business has stolen my deposit without providing me with any service. The paperwork states no refunds but I should be compensated with it least 2 photos or a full refund since she told groupon she couldn't further assist me. The paperwork also states that pictures do not go out for processing untill the account is paid in full. So nothing should have been sent out and I did try to cancel within the time frame. I have been getting the run around and no calls back. I hope you can help me.Desired Settlement: I would really like my one groupon photo I am entitled too and I should be refunded the total deposit or at least compensated with a few pictures that would total the $223.00 deposit that was left.

Review: I purchased a package from Groupon that Fashion Shots was offering. The package was $39 Boudoir Photo shoot which was supposed to include a Two Hour Photo shoot with two or four looks, hairstyle and airbrush makeup, one low resolution image on a CD, and two 5x7 prints with frames. When I called to schedule the appointment I made sure to let the photographer [redacted] know that I was pregnant. He said this was not a problem as long as I was wearing lingerie. I purchased lingerie, had my nails done for the shoot and lost a days pay because they could not book an appointment anytime that accommodated my schedule. When I got to Fashion Shots, neither one of the advertised photographers or the owners were available. Someone who was not offered on the website ended up doing my photos. At the end of the shoot she told me she didnt have time to go over the pictures with me because they were took busy so she scheduled me to come back the next day so that I can pick my photos. When I got there the second day we went through the pictures. She informed me an hour into my appointment that she was not going to be able to give me the pictures which I paid for in the Groupon offer because I am pregnant. The owner refused to speak to me over the phone or in person. She instead called and spoke to the staff member who was showing me the photos. I think this is completely unprofessional, and discrimination against pregnant woman. The owner is not holding up her end of the deal and false advertising for a package which she will not offer. I left there for the second time with nothing- no prints and no CD with any photos. I cannot get in touch with the owner and I want answers. I spent a lot of money on preparing for the photo shoot and I expect the owner of the company to follow through with her end of the deal. Giving me what I paid for and what the coupon offered. At no point in time did any of the staff on the day of my photo shoot say that there would be an issue with me being pregnant. They still allowed me to pay.Desired Settlement: I would like for the business owner to contact me and follow the offer which she is promoting that I purchased. I paid for an offer which I am supposed to receive one low resolution image on a CD, and two 5x7 prints with frames.

Review: I have had maternity pictures taken on 7/**/15, they had told me that it takes 2 to 4 weeks to get the pictures back from the re-touch editor. I called right after two weeks asking if there was any progress on the pictures and right away the receptionist said "maybe you didn't pay in full yet"? I did pay my $1,500.00 in full the day of the shoot. Thought that was kind of rude to say to me but I choked it up to maybe she was having a bad day. Then I started calling at the 4 week mark.

8/**/15 - 3pm Spoke with Jackie and told her it's been 4 weeks and I still didn't receive a phone call. She said that they were backed up with re-touches, but yet no one every called me to inform me of that. I wanted to use these pictures for my baby shower. - At 4:50pm she all of a sudden sent me an e-mail stating that the CD was ready. Doesn't make sense because they send out the pictures for touch ups and at 3pm she told me he was backed up. How did he get to it, fix it and send it back all in an hour?

8/**/15 - 5:30pm Receptionist made me sign a paper stating that I have received the CD with the re-touched photos and that (3) 8 x 10s are still missing. THEY DO NOT LET YOU SEE THE FINAL PICTURES WHEN YOU SIGN THE PICK UP SHEET. YOU HAVE TO SIGN IT BEFORE THEY HAND YOU THE CD OF THE PICTURES. So you don't get to see the pictures till you get home and put the disk in your computer. So when I went home to take a look at the pictures and found the touch up unprofessional I wrote an email sating my complaint to fashionshots.net. When I looked at the disk I noticed that all pictures were modified 8/**/15 & 8/**/15 all evening and all day.

8/**/15 - Called and spoke with Stephanie in the afternoon (she said she was the owners daughter) told her I didn't get a response from the email I sent. She said they didn't check. I told her my complaint and she said Simone would call me today.

8/**/15 - Simone never called yesterday or today. I left a message on their answering machine today at 1:40pm asking for a phone call back explaining my complaint. - I also sent an email stating that "if you do not reply I will assume that you are not looking to fix the issue. She never responded.

8/**/15 - I sent an e-mail of the copy of the pictures that I know weren't re-touched correctly, circling the issues, asking if she could retouch them. Still no response.

The owner has ignored me this whole time. This will be the only professional pictures I would have during my pregnancy and the re-touching was so bad it didn't even look like me. I still didn't receive the (3) 8 x 10s that she was supposed to give me but that doesn't matter because the touch-up jobs weren't professional.Desired Settlement: Originally I just wanted her to redo the re-touching, but she ignored me. Then I think she should have at least given me all my original pictures but that didn't happen because she ignored me and I would have to pay more to get the originals from her. So now I'm at the point of this is too much aggravation. I'm past my due date with my baby, I just want my money back. She didn't do the right thing. She ignored me this whole time.

I went to this company for a bordoir photo shoot, a very private matter and of utmost privacy concern. I did not get what I paid for as provided, and this is the history of my interaction with the business.

1/*/15 Picked up my photos and CD from the office around 10 AM. Around 5 PM, checked the CD and it was someone else’s photos under the name “[redacted]”. Called and spoke with [redacted] and [redacted], voiced how upset I was about my privacy being breeched, asking who and how they could have given my CD to someone else when it was such a private matter. Reported she would mail my CD with the 5 photos – did not agree to overnight mailing it- and as compensation mail me another CD “by next week” with the remainder of my photos.

1/*/15 Received a call asking for my address though it had already been provided. Postage postmarked this day.

1/**/15 Called requesting tracking information, was told someone else had it and that they would call me back, which did not happen.

1/**/15 3:28 PM Called asking for the status of my second photo CD that was promised 2 weeks prior. Was told it would be sent out and they re-confirmed my address.

1[redacted]/15 Did not get a call with tracking information. Photo CD sent via priority mail. Checked CD on 2 computers, read as being empty. Called and left a VM asking for a call back immediately.

1/**/15 No call received. Left yet another VM regarding the lack of proper delivery of the CD,

1/**/15 Called and spoke with [redacted], she did not know that the CD was malfunctioning. Reported she would mail another CD “today or tomorrow” and give me tracking information.

1/**/15 5:50 PM No call or information regarding tracking received. Called and spoke to [redacted], who reported she did not know the status of my photos. Said she would have [redacted] call me back.

1/**/15 5:55 PM No return call received. Called and spoke with [redacted] to get the tracking information. Did not receive photos she promised to mail “today and tomorrow” and she did not have the info, refused to “put down the camera” and then she hung up on me.

1/**/15 7:05 Called and left a VM about being hung up on, asking for a call back with the information.Desired Settlement: 1) Complete agreed services in a timely manner
