DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE!!!! They do not give refunds on anything!!!! I bought a $10 set of earplugs that they said were for ear pressure for $10. Despite the fact that the packaging also talked about reducing noise, I plunked down my $10. The sign by the register talks about exchanges for 14 days after you buy the product - nothing about refunds. It was only when I got home that I saw that my receipt has the words "No Refunds" on the bottom. When I learned I was right about the earplugs and that they were not for ear pressure on a plane, I took them back to return them the next day. They refuses to return them and insisted that people buy them all the time for ear pressure. Horrible customer service - they argued with me and when I said I would by "yelping", they couldn't have cared less. I'm only out $10 - buy your luggage elsewhere where they gladly accept your returns!!!

Review: I went to the store with my friend on Nov 14, 2013 as my friend wanted to buy a luggage, at the meantime a salesman told me that they can fix damage on roller or it's base of a luggage, so I asked if he could fix my luggage which the roller's base has been broken, the salesman said that is fine and only need $100-150 in 10-15 minutes, so I drove 1.5 hours to bring my luggage back from hotel. Besides, my friend bought a luggage and another salesman told him that they can repair my luggage with discount even free.

1.5 hours later when I came back to the store with my broken luggage, the salesman told me that I have to pay $288 to fix the base and it would need 4 weeks! The fee could be cheaper if I buy another luggage beyond my friend's, so not only the fee but the time are totally different from what they promised before. It was really ridiculous and has wasted my time.Desired Settlement: I hope they could officially apologize for what they did and $200 cash/cheque is requested as a compensation for my time.

Review: Had purchased luggage from this store several years before and anticipated no problems this time. However, the salesperson lied at every breath about the luggage I purchased this time (19 August 2014). The verbal representations were: (1) luggage weighs only 4 pounds - weighed 7.1 pounds; (2) luggage measurements are under airline restrictions, which are (length x height x width = 62 inches) - luggage measures either 66.5 inches counting wheels or 63.5 inches excluding wheels; (3) luggage appeared to be used - dirty and an apparent dent; (4) no brochure with the luggage; (5) was told the luggage was manufactured by Boeing A/C - it's not. Am checking with manufacture to determine if a brochure should have been included in the packaging.

After confirming at the manufacturers website that the product was totally misrepresented, tried to return it the next day (20 August 2014). However, Fashion Valley Luggage pointed out the stamp on the receipt - only credit - and would not credit my card. This experience left me cold - lies, lies, lies, and a complete absence of honor.Desired Settlement: Stop the LIES. Black listing a store that willfully lies is too good for Fashion Valley Luggage. Interesting how much deterioration in a store can happen in a few short years.

Review: I went into Fashion Valley Luggage to purchase a new set of [redacted] luggage. I had shopped there prior and have spend a lot of money at their store. I was told by one of the managers that they stopped carrying [redacted] due to problems with too many repairs. I was talked into buying a [redacted]. The design of the locks looked odd to me and the first question I asked was about the latches, since they didnt have a locking mechanism. The salesman, [redacted], (whom I think is a manager too) said theyve had no problems or complaints. I said But if the latches have no locks, theyll open during transport, He said [redacted] is the best and this has been their design for over 20 years and for as long as hes sold them theyve had no problem. I was also told this suit case was the strongest on the market.I bought 2 of the top end for almost $2,000. I was leaving on a trip within a week, and excited to use them. I packed and went to lock the suitcase and the lock failed. I was hours away from my flight. I had to empty the suitcase and go back to an old one. I called the shop and they were no help, other that to say, bring the case in, I was actually on my way to airport and wouldve missed my flight. I was pretty bummed out after being told that I had bought the best suitcase available.I had my wife drop it off we hadnt even used the wheels on the suitcase, let alone the suitcase. I asked them just to replace it and I was told it needed to be sent back to [redacted] to be inspected. This of course created more delays. I returned from my trip and still had no contact. I called a few times getting frustrated and was told it had to be shipped back to headquarters (I think New Jersey) to verify I hadnt used it. More delays. About now I wanted the [redacted] I came in to purchase. Finally after what seemed like a couple of months I got a brand new suitcase with a working lock. I left shortly after for another trip, and the leg one of the latches was busted and the shell of the suitcase damaged. I texted the store from France letting them know immediately of the situation. I returned form the trip and the suitcase looked like it had been in a car accident and I had to tape the bag because of the broken latch for fear it would open and Id lose my belongings. It was very stressful. I called [redacted] immediately when I returned and he said that was unacceptable and he would make it right. He said it would help him out I would also reach out to [redacted] directly. I said (and you can see the language in an email pasted below) that this was between him and me; I just wanted him to do the right thing at this point. He assured me he would but asked me to also call customer service manager from [redacted]. I emailed - no response, I called and got through and was told to send pictures. I travel every couple weeks and needed a remedy fast. [redacted] did not get back to me as promised. I emailed them multiple times and left multiple messages, so I contacted Fashion Valley again. No one returned my call. I called multiple times stating the urgency. No return calls, no email replies. I pasted some of the emails where you can see the dates. Finally I spoke to someone at the store and said Im fed up, Ive been had problems since December with this bag and now its May, I just want my money back. I was curtly told no refunds, I said, make an exception, Im a good client and just want my [redacted] which you stopped carrying. I was told again, unsympathetically, No refunds. I said, Have [redacted] call me a.s.a.p. No call. No email, no replies, nothing. To say Im incredibly frustrated is an understatement. I went out and bought new [redacted] and was told them of my disappointment with the [redacted] and I wouldve bought the [redacted] at Fashion Valley but they stopped carrying them. The salesperson, smiled and said, Thats because [redacted] pulled it from them. (If this is true, it means I was manipulated into buying a product that failed three times. And these guys are saying things about [redacted] they shouldnt be.).Apparently, they have a 14-day exchange only, which makes little sense if you buy the best product they have and it fails. What will you exchange it for? The first problem with the lock, delayed me long past this 14-day return window. After busying many pieces of luggage over the years, I was appalled by the treatment as a Good Samaritan, hard working citizen - all I wanted to some good treatment. I couldnt even get a call or email back from either Fashion Valley or [redacted]. But they all got my money. Please take a look at the emails below. I included a few of them to show you the timeline from April 30th to the last one, simply asking for the courtesy of a reply.Sincerely,[redacted]Fashion Valley Luggage to [redacted]Apr 30Hi [redacted],This is the contact info for the head of Zero [redacted]. I will follow up tomorrow with you. [redacted] Fashion Valley Luggage me to FashionApr 30Thx [redacted] Zero - I'll call them and tell them how silly their design isI'm not sure how that will help since I bought it from you and not themBottom line is I want to return the suitcases since I bought them on your recommendation that they're better than the [redacted]- as I mentioned at time of purchase that my concern was the latch design and opening as it had no lock - not only did it open but it was damaged so that it opened every flight that I had to tape the suitcase.I had hoped to just make this return simple for you (from a customer care pov) and swap out for some new [redacted] (and let you argue with [redacted]) but you don't carry it any longer and I don't want to wait 6 months (I can get it new in stock from several places) I'm calling now but regardless of what they say I want to return the cases as I bought them as matching set. [redacted]CEO & Founder, [redacted] Tactical Systems Inc.------Forwarded message------ From: [redacted]tactical.com Date: Thu,Desired Settlement: After all the stress starting from inside their 14-day exchange policy, along with the treatment and aggravation, I would like a full refund.

Review: Not accepting a refund the VERY next day with the tags still on the product. Item was never used. They never stated anything about their "no refund policy" What business these days don't accept refunds??!!! STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!Desired Settlement: process refund....bags had all tags attached.

Review: The sales representative failed to sell me a travel adapter that would work for my specific needs. (I was very specific about my requirements, stating I was traveling to India and needed adapters for my computers and electronic gear.) When I attempted to return a blister sealed and unopened package, I was told they do not return and refund items. The only notice about refunds regarding the store's policy is a small sign posted at one side of the check out counter. This was not posted where I was standing to pay nor was their policy brought to my attention. Their public entrance was not posted with its refund policy nor was the items tag that I purchased. This is contrary to California Civil Code section 1723.

When I attempted to return the item for a refund, explaining that I was very clear on my requirements and was sold an item that did not meet a single one of them, I was pretty rudely told "too bad you can exchange it for anything." Not even a store credit, I had to exchange it right then and there for an item in the store.

Note that this exact item is sold for half the price elsewhere ($19.00!)Desired Settlement: I was forced to purchase two items I did not want and will never use. I want to return both of these items for a full refund.

Review: Contrary to California Civil Code section 1723 the stores public entrance was not posted with its refund policy nor was the items tag that I purchased. I was informed from my command that the luggage I was to use was not acceptable. When I called the store they informed me there was zero way I could recieve a refund. I returned to the store and looked at the entrance and cashier stand for the policy. The only posting is a 8x11 sheet of paper on the cashiers desk. I politely asked for a refund and was told no.Desired Settlement: Request refund for items purchased. Tags still intact.
