[redacted], 2014 it is going to be nine months since the shop took my car for repairs. I have spoken with Jhon (the person in charge) and he keeps telling me next Saturday, and more excuses... As well, I went to the place and finally saw the car, looking good, but still not ready.
I am compleatly desperate, keep paying for my car lease and insurance every month, besides the need for the vehicle. This people can not care less, not respect.
Please help, DMV complaint is still on the waiting list since december **. The police told me they can not help me, the insurance company said that it is nothing that they can do, a lawyer was going to charge me $5,000.

Review: On November **-2013 my car was took to this body shop for repairs. On Nov **my insurance company already issues out a check to shop for my car to be fix. I was actually surprise that my insurance company approved the repairs on my car cause it was badly hit. The Insurance company also agreed to pay for my rental up to $1000 with me paying 20 % of the coast. As the time got closer to me having to return my rental, I would give the shop a call just to see how much progress was done. to my surprise the owner of the shop was never around. Their secretary would always ask me if I would like to leave a message with I did and that the owner of the shop would call me back , he never did. I kind of lost track on how many times I would call the shop but they never called me back. On December ** I got a call from the rental car company that my contract was about to expire and that they got in contact with the body shop owner and he said that the parts for my car was on back order. As you can imagine I was angry and disappointed. I called the Shop right away and he finally answered the phone and told me to call him back. That was his first words to me , asking me to call him back cause he was busy with other customers. So I did, I call him 2 hours later and he didn't answer the phone. I finally call my insurance company and I managed to get the shop owner and a insurance agent on the phone at the same time. He claimed that he never talk to me before and he apologized for the delay with my car. he also claim that I could come down to the shop and he would go over all the repairs that need to be down. I told him I didn't want to keep my car at his shop anymore. that I wanted it removed, he stated that he already took the car apart and work has already been done so I couldn't move it from his shop. The following day I went to take a look at my car Dec 14. The owner was no where to be found. His front desk gave him a call and told him that I was there. He told his front desk to tell me that hes going to be a little late and for me to hang around the shop until he gets there. I waited for one hour and a half. he never showed up and never gave me a call. Finally I got in contact with him on Dec 16 and got a chance to see my car. from what I can see nothing was done and there was more damage done to the back of my car. I told him I had it with him and that I want my car out of his shop. But according to him I sign papers that hes responsible for fixing my car and he won't allow me to tow it out of his shop. Right now I am paying for a rental out of pocket . I cant complain to the insurance company they did their part. its January 16 and I still dont have my car. Tomorrow will be 2 months and these people are still giving me the run around there coasting me money that I don't .Desired Settlement: I just want them to release my car and give back the money that they stole from my insurance company over $ 12,000 and the $ 700 for my rental. I pray the Revdex.com does something cause these people are crooks. No way should these people be in business .

Review: I had an accident June [redacted]. My car was parked a lady side swiped my car. Just before the police arrived these 2 men with a collision truck arrived. They gave me their number to their shop. I brought my car in to their shop "June * 20013" and since then today "August [redacted] 2013" I had gone back to the shop to pick up a tool from my trunk and it was then I seen they had HIT my car again for a bigger payout from the insurance company. originally I had maybe $1000 dollars in damage. From what the insurance company tells me, they paid out over "$5900" in damages. I have before and after photos of the accident if needed. Since they've had my car they've acquired 2 parking violation tickets totalling "$280 dollars" in an attempt to call them to question about my car I repeatly was screamed at and already twice cursed at. This company is committing insurance fraud! I want my car to be completed then shut down! If they've done that to my car god knows how many other cars have been victimized the same way. I repeatedly tried contacting this company as to when my car will be done and I was only met with attitudes as to "don't rush me" "you'll get the car when the car is done" and a bunch of other nasty responses.Desired Settlement: I want this company to pay me , well cover the bill for the excess time I've had this rental which the insurance doesn't want to pay for anymore cause of the excess time their taking to fix it. And for the 2 parking tickets!

Review: This co. Towed my car they also stated they would fix the body work after waiting for 3 months now my car was sent to another shop and it has been destroyed , its all disasembled hthey recived a check from my insurance co. that came in both our names and they signed it and forged my signature on it. I still dont have my car and now I dont even want it because it has been destrooyed Safe Auto car insurance has done nothing but use me as a ping pong ball not even returning my calls They know about they signing the check but they said they will not prosicute , this is something I have to do on my own I already have reported this shop to the DCA. From what information I gathered The other shop whwere they sent my car said this is not the first time this shop has done this on top of this they wanted a supplement check they are only milking the insurance co for more money with doing the right thing.Desired Settlement: I want this shop to replace my car or pay me the book value

Review: My vehicle was in a car accident on June **, 2014 and nearly 6 months later, repairs are still not complete on my car. Fast Collision and Towing in [redacted], NY was the company paid by my auto insurance to perform and complete work on my vehicle, which should've been completed within a one month time frame. After following up weekly via phone conversation with the "[redacted] named [redacted]" for about two months after the incident, I was informed that work was being done on the car and near completion. I even tried coming to the shop to follow-up on the progress of the car but was informed that the car was at the [redacted] Dealer for airbag installation. When I tried calling the [redacted] regarding my car, no record of the vehicle existed. When I called Fast Collision and Towing, [redacted] told me that it was another location getting some other work done. However, one week led to another and it became three months then four month since the accident that the car was not complete.

Some time in September, I received a letter in the mail informing me that my vehicle was issued a ticket for no license plate in some location in Queens. I contacted [redacted] regarding the ticket and he informed me that the car was sent to his other shop in Queens to be painted as all the work was completed. He also said that the ticket was going to be paid for. I asked him for the address of the shop so that I can see the finished work but he gave me an address to a random location in Queens. As time progressed, my calls were not being answered or returned.

In October, I decided to look into the matter closely and tried locating my car based on the location of the ticket issued. Coincidently, when I was walking from the train to work in Queens, I saw my car parked along the side of the street a couple of blocks from my job. I saw that the car was in the same condition as the day of the accident with no work done on the vehicle. It was parked in front of another auto body shop. I went to confront the individual in charge of the work on the car and he said that he just received the car a couple of weeks ago from another shop near his location and will begin working on the car once he gets a chance. I called [redacted] to confront him and he hung up on me several times and stopped answering my calls using this number: ###-###-####/[redacted]. After I told the guy, named [redacted] that I was going to call the cops, he spoke with [redacted] and informed me that I will no longer be dealing with [redacted] but with him. [redacted] also informed me that the Fast Collision and Towing shop in [redacted] was closed down by the sheriff's department and placed out of business. [redacted] agreed to work on my vehicle. At the same time, I called my insurance company to inform them of what's been going on and they advised me to get the car back first before taking any action. Since the car is now in the possession of this new shop, I agreed to allow him to start working on the vehicle so that it can be completed and back in my possession before I take any action against them.

So after 4 months of no work being done on the vehicle, my car was finally getting repaired. However, after actually performing work on the car it took nearly two months to almost complete rather than 1 month since parts took long to receive from the [redacted] manufacturer, which all could have been avoided if work was done and parts were ordered when it was suppose to back in June. Now with my car nearly done, I find out that my license plates are missing and no where to be found, delaying the return of my vehicle. I'm coming forward now to make a complaint because I won't be able to drive my car once it is completed due to missing license plates.

Additionally, I am making payments on a car that I am not driving. Paying for auto insurance on a vehicle for nearly 6 months that I am not driving. I am pregnant, expecting a second child and have been forced to commute by bus, train and taxi during this time with my 1 year old. This avoidable situation has cost me time, and money, from work as well as unnecessary stress. I have missed many sessions with my clients and had to reschedule them on the weekends, which takes away time from myself and family. I also missed and cancelled courses that are required to maintain my current practice due to the nature of their locations. I also missed opportunities to travel or go away for the weekend or holiday as it will cost me more money and time than if I had my car. Money paid towards the vehicle for repairs in the amount of $10,759.23 should be refunded to me as work performed on the vehicle were not performed in the time agreed by the man responsible who calls himself [redacted] but his real name is [redacted] (License: [redacted], Address: [redacted])Desired Settlement: Provide a refund.

Review: On October */2013 I took my vehicle to this body shop. Within 2 days the insurance company sent an adjuster to see the car.

A few days later I received an insurance company check for an amount that seemed to be excessive. I spoke to the body shop owner and he said that's the amount he and the adjuster agreed on so I had to give him the check. He also told me he needed the check because he was already working on the car. That was on 10/**.

Insurance company told me they would pay for a rental for 18 days as they approved work on the car for 11 days. I started calling the body shop on 10/** but nobody would give me an answer on how the repairs were going. The owner would not pick up the phone.

I told the receptionist that I had to return the rental and that anything extra would be their responsibility because the car was not ready. On 11/*, I showed up at the place and to my surprise the car hadn't been worked on at all...No work at all!!!

Then I took a closer look at the vehicle and saw additional damage on the car, it had been hit hard on the right side while in the body shop possession. There was my explanation on why the insurance paid so much for the repairs. The body shop did more damage to the car to get more money from the insurance company. Car has been at this body shop for over a month and no work has been performed. Additional and excessive damage done to my vehicle. I Have been yelled at and disrespected. They refused to pay for the additional days I've had this rental as of today 11/* a total of $500.36

I also saw them repairing other cars with [redacted]. I don't trust them at all, My full cover insurance paid for brand new parts.

This is the third complain this body shop receives this year at Revdex.com. All 3 same issue.Desired Settlement: I am requesting the return of my vehicle immediately. No work to be done to my vehicle. Further, I demand, a full refund of the $7,002.02 paid to you by [redacted] for work not performed. Additionally, car rental fees $500.32 as of today 11/*, as the insurance company only paid for the days allowed. Until I have my vehicle and the funds paid to you for the work on same, I will hold you liable for all rental fees until I get my car repaired at another Body shop. Once I calculate the charges for my extra damages I will advise you immediately.

Review: First of all I would like to state my appreciation for whoever reads this , my last attempt at obtaining my car. After an accident , this company towed my car. My accident occurred in January 2014. It is June 2014 and I have yet to have my car. They were in contact with my insurance , geico , as of February and they had received a check and cashed it . Shortly after however they called and told me my car was hit on the block it was parked on, right in front of the business , and that they needed more money. We held them liable for the damage . They contacted their insurance and received more money, and once again cashed the check. Now they are claiming they need more money. It has been five months already, and after reading about them online I am extremely worried . They have all this insurance money, but my car has yet to be fixed . I do not wish to contact a lawyer so this is my first shot at taking action. I wouldn't mind the wait if I knew they could keep to their word. Every time we call they never call us back, and when they call us back their answer is usually "one more week." Dishonesty on their behalf is not appreciated , and I could have removed my car from their business a long time ago had they told us this was going to happen .Desired Settlement: Once more , I really would just like to have my car in my hands . It doesn't settle easy with me that they keep cashing all these checks and not a single thing has been fixed . I would like my car to just be finished, with all the parts they claim they're paying for with the insurance money.

Review: My car was towed on 1/**/14 for a minor accident which caused slow leak in right rear tire. Could not replace tire due to damage around the wheel. Tow company is also a repair shop. I asked the owner and the 2 employees who showed up whether they were specifically a Select Service Center for [redacted] on 1/**/14. All responded affirmatively after my specific description of the special relationship these shops have with my insurance. On Monday 1/**/14 I was speaking with my insurance and they informed me that this business was not in the select service shop directory. I called the shop to inquire about the discrepancy and the owner said the reason they weren't on the list is because they recently applied and got approved. An estimate for the damage was completed 1/**/14. I picked a rental car as was included in my insurance up to $900. I was indisposed between 2/**/14-2/**/14 and did not contact the repair shop about the estimate and status of my vehicle. The repair shop did not contact me about the status of my vehicle. I attempted to reach the shop on 2/**/14 and was sent to an anonymous voicemail after ringing 4 times. I did not leave a message because I was not certain I was connected to a business. I tried again on 2/**/14 and got through after several tries. I asked about the status of my vehicle and to get an estimate about completion of repairs. I was told directly that parts had not arrived but had been ordered and it would be about 2 weeks before my car would be ready. This seemed egregiously long that such minor accident could take over a month for repairs so I then contacted my insurance representative. She then contacted the repair shop several times inquiring about why the reparis would take so long when the estimate called for ~5 days to fix. The repair shop gave the following information

-There were cars ahead of mine that needed repairs so my repairs would have to wait

-They ordered parts sometime during the week of 2/**/14 but would not say exactly which day when specifically asked

-The materials for the rear suspension were the parts they were waiting for but would not specify which parts exactly when specifically asked

-He expected the parts to arrive within the next day or two (by 2/**/14)

-After the parts arrive it would take 2 weeks to repair the car

-One reason the repair would be longer than the estimate is there was more damage than in the original estimate which is why repairs would take longer and that they would submit a supplemental request to [redacted] promptly

-The other reason repairs would take so long is because there are still cars ahead of mine in queue

-They had already disassembled parts of my car

The fact that they disassembled parts of my car meant that through my insurance company, I could not remove my car to another repair shop. Also my insurance double checked on 2/**/14 during the same call that this company was not recently added, nor had an application pending for approval as a [redacted] select service center. They also confirmed they had sent a check for the estimate to the company which had been cashed. Because Fast Collision and Towing is not a Select Service Center for [redacted], my insurer cannot send an inspector to investigate these claims nor discover why the time for repairs are so much longer than standard and normal.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the monies paid from my insurer to Fast Collision and Towing, my car reassembled and towed to Market Body Works in Newark, NJ, the closest official [redacted] Select Service Center to my home. I would also want the Fast Collision and Towing to pay for rental after my coverage has expired and for any transportation costs from their shop to Market Body Works not covered by my insurance.

I am reaching out for help, since the repair shop Fast Collision, has been playing around with me and gave me no other choice.

On July [redacted], 2013, my car was involved in a car accident and Fast Collision and Towing, were the ones towing the car into their shop. An Allstate appraiser went to the location and gave an estimate of $10,001.86 and a time frame of 16 days to have the car repaired. My son went to the shop to provide them with all my information (took my Driver’s License with him) and they made him sign papers authorizing the repairs. I, not aware, called the following day to inform them that the car was getting picked up and towed to a different collision place that I always have used. [redacted], not happy about it, told me that the car was already dismantled and not to worry that I would be very happy with them and when I received the check from Allstate to give it to him; which I did. They flew to pick it up.

Having no choice, I trusted him.

Today, 8 month later, paying every month my Nissan lease ($259.89)and insurance ($176.83), I have no idea what is going on with my car or where it is located.

[redacted], the person that I have been always in touch with me, keeps always giving different excuses, or avoiding me. When he finally decides to pick up the phone, he answers “[redacted]! How can I help you today darling”, almost insulting. I am going to write a few excuses that I have been listening on the past six months (I have called every 3 days after the second month);

October, begged him for the car because my mother (80) was coming to visit me. - “ Oh darling, I asked people to speed finishing your car, and when I came, they fixed the wrong car that was identical to yours, get a rental and I take care (just for the weekends)”

November, - “The car is at the Nissan Dealer getting inspected...” I personally called the dealer that he told me that the car was at, and after providing them my car VIN Number, the answer was that my car was never there. Called all the dealers and received the same answer. When I confronted him he said – “Who did you talk to? Give me the name of the person, can’t believe it”

“They sent the wrong seat belt…”

“The car computer not working…”

“Other people been waiting longer then you, we are so busy…”

“Call me on Thursday…” then he never picks up the phone until the following week and start with new excuses

I faxed them the bill from Enterprise for the six weekends that I rented (when my mom came and two more that I really needed a car) totaling $908.57. He told me that he will give me $600, because two weekends I kept it longer. My mom got a horrible medical emergency. Still waiting for the reimbursement, always a new excuse why he cannot meet with me. I have never seen the car and the address that he tells me that my car is at, it does not exist.

On Friday, December **, called a different number, the one listed on the insurance estimate, and a receptionist answered. I, almost crying and very frustrated, asked her “where is my car?” Her reply was that she did not know and have no logs of the cars, which I needed to talk to [redacted]. So I asked her to please give me the locations so I could go to both of them, she answered that she did not know the address of the other location.

On December [redacted] (6 months later), I contacted the Allstate adjustor out of not knowing who else to call, and he told me to contact DCA, DMV and to file a police report. Filed the VS-35 DMV report the same day (still no news). Went to the shop the following day, and my car was not there so I called the Police. [redacted], the person that I have been dealing with, got into his car and flew away. The Police told me that I could not report the car stolen.

Since then, everything continues the same, no car, lies, disrespect and sarcasm. Yesterday, February [redacted], my ex-husband called him (retired NYPD), that he has been trying to help me with the situation, and when he tells [redacted], - "8 months", [redacted] answered him, -" no [redacted], 10 months..."

Please beg for help, I feel completely abused, disrespected and frustrated. Spent this freezing winter walking while religiously paying every month for my car fees.
