Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint [Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.] Regards, It doesn't state that in your cancelation policy!! And it was your job to explain that your $down and $a month is indeed $down and $a monthI will not pay you for these months, first or last for a gym that I never set foot back into after I asked for it to be canceled!!! You have lost nothing, your your trying to take advantage of peopleYou charged and received$for month and this will be all you receive from me and this is more than you deserve for the way you conduct businessIt's horrible for you to treat people this way and apparently I'm not the first!!

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint [Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.] Regards, She is not being truthful!! I have each and ever message from her via text!!! I did exactly as she instructed to cancel, she waited to respond to tell me she couldn't cancel with a balance that should have never been!!! It's unfair practice to forcefully charge someone after they tell you not to!!! I never set foot back in that place and I keep getting billed!!! They charged my account a monthly charge do I had to cancel my accountI have all messages from her if you need themShe has horrible reviews online because she is a crook!!

The membership you chose was $down We do not have a contract so when you join, you pay first and last month's dues to lock in your rate It's printed right on the membership form and on our membership book I'm sorry you don't understand this We have several memberships to choose from And once again, just to reiterate, you can not cancel a membership if you have a balance, which you did, since you gave credit card information

No I never received a refund

I'm sorry but if Mr*** would have just followed the instructions none of this would even be an issue I believe he gave us fraudulent credit card information in the beginning just so he could leave appearing to have purchased a membershipThen cowardly text to try and get out of his situation Now we are the bad guys

Regards,
I was never told about any maintenance fee and I never received a email about one eitherThe only email I've received is a receipt for the $*** for first and last month payment & if this is true then I would have thought the response from *** *** would have said something about it being for a maintenance fee but her words were she was sorry and did not know why the money was taken from my account and she would credit it back to me

The client was offered other trainers to perform her personal training sessions but she declined We have plenty of qualified personal trainers on staff to meet her schedule requirements, she is refusing to use any of the others The original trainers she was assigned to got fired for
stealing, so obviously they can't be here to service her The personal training contract is between the client and the facility, not with the client and the trainer It is Fast Fitness who assigns the trainers

Regards,Fast Fitness did not say, write, or in any other way imply that they would be selecting trainer (s) for meI tried three different trainers at Fast FitnessTechnically two, as one trainer did not remember our appointmentThe first trainer (I assume this is the one they fired) did not show up for a week, and when I went to the club, no other trainer offered to work with meIn fact, one trainer said she would always give her clients her cell number and that I should have gotten *** numberHe returned the following week and I was told he was at a family reunionThen just a short time later (maybe two weeks) when I showed up for my appointment I was told by another trainer that *** was no longer at the store and no one had bothered to tell meThat trainer did not say may I make an appointment with you for someone else, or that even he was available to work out with me, even though as best I could tell he was not busyI did get in touch with *** since I had his number by then, and he was now working out of the Spring locationI felt this was too far, and I had made an appointment with *** the following Tuesday*** did not show up and I was locked out of the gym as my code number that was given to me when I signed the contract did not workThis is supposed to be a 24/club with access via a door codeNo one was in the gym to let me in at 10:amThere was another trainer in the parking lot that morning also waiting to be let inHe called *** and he came and let us both inI explained my frustration at that time, and *** (new trainer) did work out with meThis worked great for about two weeks and then he also moved to the Spring locationI did go down there to work out with him a few times, but it is very inconvenientEspecially due to the highway construction and closures.
I joined this club one evening in July and I believe over the course of the months, had approximately work outsThey have received my paid in full membership of over $and my monthly fee of over $I feel that they have not held up there end of the contractThree trainers is enough to try, and no one has been able to commit to the program.
From the note they have written to me, it seems they would like for me to try additional trainers at their clubI feel like I have given the club enough tries

Regards,
I followed your directions that's stated on your contract and it says nowhere that you will continue to bill me after you get notification!!! You texted me first and I responded!! I didn't want to use your gym after I thought about your $0 down scam!! $0 down means $0 down!! I also signed a contract at Fitness Connection!! With $0 down and $10 a month!!! No scams involved

[redacted] joined the facility on [redacted].  There is an email that goes out at the beginning of [redacted] every year informing our members of our annual maintenance fee.  The charge usually happens a week after the email is sent.  Because she had just joined and did not...

respond to the email, we went ahead and credited her account with the yearly fee that was charged to her.

I understand that FAST Fitness normally offers only 6 month agreements as stated in the response, however, during the sales pitch I explained that  I could not sign a six month due to a possible job for me in Dallas requiring me to leave Houston at the end of October.  [redacted] talked to [redacted] and they agreed to a special 5 month agreement for me as evidenced by the "5 months" handwritten by [redacted] on the front of the membership agreement.  This is clearly visible in the agreement they provided.    My first payment on the date the agreement was initiated was for $570.47.  I signed two agreements on 5/30/14, one for a total of $346.40 for first month's training and $224.07 for monthly membership dues.  These two total to $570.47, so I understand I paid my first month's training on 5/30/14.  I have since made four other payments to fulfill my "5 months" agreement.     For the record, I paid:
5/30/14 $570.47
6/30/14 $346.40
7/30/14 $346.40
8/29/14 $346.40
9/30/14 $346.40
If the 5/30/2014 payment of $570.47  does not cover my first month's training, then I need to get a detailed accounting of what I paid for.   It was always my understanding that I had five months and the agreement then expired as evidenced by the handwritten "5 months".    [redacted] & [redacted]  made the offer of "5 months" and they should honor that.  I do not understand why this cannot be an amicable termination of business and fulfillment of the agreement.
Regards,
[redacted]

Mr. [redacted] only spoke to me on one occasion about his personal training contract.  It was to my understanding when the conversation was finished that we were on the same page and he understood the billing process.  Then his last personal training payment was returned.  At this time,...

we charged his last payment to the card on file, the one which he gave us authorization to use, to complete his contract. It is our policy to write "phone" on the signature line showing the customer was not present.   It clearly states that he had 5 payments left to pay on his contract.  His initial deposit and payment are not part of that amount.  The shortest time frame we do on personal training agreements is 6 months.  I'm not sure where he's not understanding this, the paperwork speaks for itself.  I even explained this to him when he did have the conversation to me.  I am attaching the copy of his personal training agreement for reference.

No I never received a refund.

It doesn't state that in your cancelation policy!! And it was your job to explain that your $0 down and $59 a month is indeed $129 down and $59 a month. I will not pay you for these months, first or last for a gym that I never set foot back into after I asked for it to be canceled!!! You have lost nothing, your your trying to take advantage of people.... You charged and received$69 for 1 month and this will be all you receive from me and this is more than you deserve for the way you conduct business. It's horrible for you to treat people this way and apparently I'm not the first!!
