I took my car in because my check engine light was onThey diagnosed it and I paid to have it fixedTwo days later the light came back onThis time they said it was a different issue so I paid to fix itTwo days later the light came back on again they said it was a different issueEach time they told me the warranty they offer is only valid on work they did not on the problem that brought me inAfter $spent and my check engine light still on I took it else whereThe new mechanic said I had hoses that were not fully attached which they fixed for $and my check engine light has been off ever sinceIm no mechanic but it seems shady to me

As I explained to Miss *** over the phone, she agreed and signed for our year battery planShe brought in higher end watches, a *** *** Chronograph and a *** *** watchWith our year plan she will receive FREE batteries within the years whenever they dieWe do a complete
service on the watches and not just pop them open and throw a battery in, anyone can do thatWe use *** batteries only, inspect the stem and crown, clean the contacts and blow it out, inspect and lubricate the gaskets, and do a light cleaning and polish on the whole watchMy employee told her to come back in minutes to pick them up, after she had agreed and signed to have the work done by our trained professionals (please see attached signed work order #***)Being that we are called Fast-Fix my Jeweler/Watch professional started the work right awayWe tell customers minutes in case we have trouble getting a back on or off, which happens frequentlyIt does not usually take the full minutes, and in most instances it only takes Miss *** called the store after calling her mother first, to tell them her mother said the cost was too muchThe minutes had already passed, and the work was doneWhen she came back in she wanted a refund, and only a refund, or she would not stop until she got oneMy employees did not give her one, so she called me thinking I wouldI said I would talk to my employees and get back to her, but she never gave me the chance to do soShe put a bad review on *** plus right after she talked to me because she did not get what she wantedYou can't agree and sign giving the go ahead for the work to be done, and then change your mind after the work is already doneMiss *** said she agreed with everything I said about the valueHer issue was with my employees not being "trained" because they did not give her a refundShe will get at least free batteries per watch on our year planA refund is not warranted in this casePlease see a copy of her attached work order slip she signed, prior to calling her motherThank you, Beth G

This is response to complaint ID ***The customer purchased our year warranty plan, which is $+ tax for a *** watchThis means in the years whenever the battery dies, we replace it for FREEThis was clearly explained to him, and he CHOSE the year plan, not the year plan
which is $+ taxHe agreed to this, signed off on it and paid for it (please see attached)His wife is the one who came in yelling about the price and not himA battery will generally last about a year and a half on average, so they will get 2-batteries FREE in theyearsThis will end up saving them money in the long run if others charge $to do it every year or soWe also do a complete service on the watch when we do a battery changeThis includes using premium battery brands (*** only), inspection of the stem and crown, cleaning the contacts, inspection and lubrication of the gasketsWe are also professionally trained to do this type of workWe work on all high end expensive Swiss watchesMany stores will not work on ***'s because of the expense of the watch and the risk involvedThe customer is not entitled to any money backWe explained the warranty to him, he agreed, signed off and paid for itHis wife is the one who is complaining not himThank you, Beth G

I took my car in because my check engine light was on. They diagnosed it and I paid to have it fixed. Two days later the light came back on. This time they said it was a different issue so I paid to fix it. Two days later the light came back on again they said it was a different issue. Each time they told me the warranty they offer is only valid on work they did not on the problem that brought me in. After $2600 spent and my check engine light still on I took it else where. The new mechanic said I had hoses that were not fully attached which they fixed for $35 and my check engine light has been off ever since. Im no mechanic but it seems shady to me.

Review: Fast fix store in Erie, PA Millcreek Mall, did not honor a warranty for a watch battery.March 29, 2013 I took a $ 1000 dollar Longines watch to the above store for a battery. I was charges $ 31+ dollars, (not a problem) 20 minutes and I received my watch and a 1 year warranty. June 3, 2014 my battery was slowing down. I returned to the store with the warranty card, my sales slips and the same watch. In 10 minutes I received my watch and the old warranty card. I owed nothing, I thanked them and left. I live 23 miles away, on the way home I noticed my car clock and my watch we're off. My watch hadn't moved. The next day, June 4, 2014 I took the watch to a jeweler in Girard, PA and requested a new battery. 10 minutes, $10.05, and my watch was running on time. I asked him if the battery was dead, he said, "completely dead, why?"1. Owner did not replace the battery per the warranty.2. Owner kept all my paperwork and receipts.3. Returned the old warranty card.4. When I asked for a new warranty on the so-called new battery, he refused.5. To think I thanked him!Desired Settlement: I would like this store and owner reported to the franchise headquarters as well as his immediate supervisor.I would like a conformation that this was indeed done.I would like a refund of 31$ for the 46 miles I drove to the store to be taken advantage of due to my age. This may not sound like much, however I would never trust this store owner to not pull something a lot bigger for his own gain.
