Yesterday I went in to see about getting my eye glasses fixed. It was a minor problem with one of the nose pads that had come off. I was floored when they quoted me a price of $30 dollars. Needless to say, I declined the repair. I went to Wal-Mart eye department and they put both new eye pads on my glasses for $2.04.

Review: I have a Luminox Watch series 3050/3950 watch that is approximately 3 years old. In December 2014 it stopped working. On December 6, 2014 I took it to Fast-Fix Watch repair, [redacted] for repair. Upon completion, Fast-Fix told me the watch had been completely rebuilt with original Luminox parts. Their repair worked for approximately two weeks and then it malfunctioned again (incorrect time, several hours off). I returned the watch for them to fix again. It took approximately two weeks to complete. I picked up the watch and that repair lasted until January 29, 2015, when it malfunctioned again, same issue.Desired Settlement: I would like to send the watch to a Luminox authorized service center for repair. I would also like Fast-Fix to pay any fees associated with repair and shipping. I have already contacted Luminox about this problem and they have suggested I send the watch to the LUMINOX SERVICE CENTER - [redacted]

Review: On may 22 2013 I brought my wife's watch to the store because it would stop working on and off. I was told that I need to change the battery and because the watch is an expensive brand I was charged $99.08 for the battery.

I returned to the store the next day with the same problem and was told they forgot to put a seal in and wanted to call me and that would resolve the issue, when I returned the third time they said it just needed to be cleaned and returned saying it's all ok.

I returned the forth time on July 13 2013, we were away on vacation and didn't have time to come back before, the watch still had the same problem it had the first time I brought it in.

They now said the watch needed an overhaul and it would cost $350, my response was that it's not worth it to me and I requested a refund on the battery that I was charged as that clearly was not the issue.

The store refused to refund my money and was only willing to offer a store credit, I explained that I have no need with a store credit and they have dealt with my watch in an unprofessional way because it an expensive brand and the battery shouldn't of been replaced and I will not use their services again.

They refused and said take it or leave it, I explained that if you take your car to the shop because the battery is dead and they replace the breaks, its their problem as they didn't address they correct issue, it's the same with replacing the battery in a watch when the problem is clearly with the mechanism.

If they would of told me up front the repair would cost $350, I would of never repaired it in the first place.Desired Settlement: I only desire what is right and proper, return funds they are not entitled to as they gave the wrong diagnostics.

Review: About 2 months ago, I took my watch in to get the glass replaced, since it was a little beat up. I also asked them to re-waterproof the glass so I could still go swimming with it. When I initially took it in, they told me 5-7 business days would be all the time they needed. I went back exactly a week later, and they told me to come back in at the end of the week, which I understood since some of the days that had elapsed were not business days. I went back in at the end of the week, and they told me to come back a week later. A week later, I went in and they told me to wait another week...that week passed by and I went back in, and they told me that it would be ready in approximately an hour, so I had to kill time walking around. I would have understood if it took them a week or two, since the glass needed to be custom cut; however, 1 month is way too long for this process. Not to mention the place is about 40 minutes from my house, which is a lot of driving.Fast foward to last weekend, when I showered with my watch. The glass wasn't properly sealed, and steam got underneath, leaving waterspots on the face of the watch. When I took it in yesterday, they said they would fix it for me and it would be ready by tomorrow. I just got back from them today, it was ready on time. However, the waterspots were still on the face and the glass looked like they had just lined the edges with superglue and and pushed it down...there was a significant amount of excess sealant. When I asked for them to clean the face of the watch, they tried to tell me it's part of the design...ignoring the fact I've had the watch for over 3 years. The cherry on top was when the worker told me that the sealant may be waterproof, but it isn't heat proof.I just got back from them today as I went in to ask for a refund, and they said they couldn't refund me the money but would try to fix what they could. However, they are now telling me they don't do water-proofing at all...which is weird because they initially told me they do.Desired Settlement: Ideally, I would like a refund OR replacement. Some honesty would be nice too.
