Fast-Fix Jewelry Repairs Reviews (2)

In response to this complaint, yes , the customer did give us his watch to repair the pins on his watchbandThe job was perfectly done and the customer states in his complaint that he was satisfied with the repairI personally delivered that job to the customer and he never mentioned that he
talked with my employee about the second hand not resetting at Instead he accused me saying that I screwed up his watch and he wants it fixedHe said in his complaint that the second hand was a little off when he dropped it off and when my employee gave him a price of 45.00, he said he will fix it by himselfNow if you can fix it by yourself, what difference does it make if it was off 4-seconds or 8-secondsNevertheless, he came across very rude and demanding that I fix this now and started to threaten me by saying that he works for the Justice Department and was trying to use the Department of Justice name to get the job done at no chargeAfter reviewing this complaint, I am thinking of filing a complaint against him for using the Justice Department name in order to get a personal job done.Thank you.Sincerely,Benny M***

Dear Revdex.com,
I decided to close the complaint because I personally fixed
the problems with the watch. I stand by everything I said in my original
complaint about the poor customer service.
However, to correct some of the inaccuracies in Mr.
M[redacted]’s reply, and as I mentioned in my complaint, Mr. M[redacted] told me that
the problem with the watch was a mechanical problem, not a calibration problem.
After telling me how much it would cost, I told him I would “fix it on my own,”
meaning I would have another repair place (like the [redacted] U.S. repair center)
fix it. The next day, when I figured out (through [redacted] customer service) that
this was a calibration problem and was something that I could fix on my own, I
went ahead and did so.
Yes, I was (and still am) very happy with the watchband
repair. I filed the complaint because of my dissatisfaction with the customer
service at the shop and because the problem with the watch’s timer was
exacerbated after I dropped my watch off at the shop. Furthermore, I never
“threaten[ed]” him; I informed Mr. M[redacted] that I was very aware of RevDex.com (Revdex.com) and how to file a complaint because I read consumer
complaints against businesses online as part of my previous employment. I told
him I would file a complaint with Revdex.com. I never did and I will not file a
complaint with the DOJ. It is also completely false that I attempted to try to
get the repair done for free. I pre-paid for the watch repair, picked it up,
and then returned to the store afterwards because of the problem with the
second hand. I initially asked him to simply fix the problem before I requested
a refund and/or apology from the business through Revdex.com, due to my unhappiness with
the customer service and the time I had to devote to researching how to fix the
problem that his staff exacerbated. Also, it was Mr. M[redacted] who incorrectly
stated it was a mechanical problem (and not, as it turned out, something that
could be recalibrated externally, which I learned after I left).
I opened this complaint with Revdex.com originally seeking an
apology and/or refund due to my dissatisfaction with the customer service I
received. It is apparent that Mr. M[redacted] does not believe in “the customer is
right,” and even though the problem with my watch’s timer was exacerbated while
the watch was at his shop, I will “agree to disagree” with Mr. M[redacted] about
how one handles customer service.
Please close this complaint against Mr. M[redacted], as his shop
fixed the watchband to my satisfaction. I am no longer interested in seeking an
apology and/or refund due to my customer service experience. Thank you for your
time.
