Fast-Fix Jewelry & Watch Repair Reviews (4)

On Saturday, May 12, 2018, I had a very unpleasant customer experience at the Westfield Mall Culver City store location The lack of optimum customer service began after I came to pick up my 2-watches (Fossel and Diesel) I had dropped off to have the batteries replaced I walked in and gave the store associate (Javier) my claim ticket for my watches He placed them on the table and I handed him my credit card He walked to the computer to process my payment leaving me with my watches I noticed that neither of my watches had the correct time, so I grabbed my Diesel watch to set the correct time and when I pulled the crown to set the time, it completely came off I was puzzled as to why this happened so I asked Javier to come over so I can show him He grabbed the watched and used a magnifying device to get a closer look He told me that it must be rust that caused the piece to come off I explained that this never happened before and that I haven't worn either watch in months, so I was confused as to how "rust" could have seemingly cause the crown to fall offI added that my watch was perfectly fine when I brought in prior to the repair I showed his that the piece on the rear of the crown was bent and it should be straight, further proving that it was probably broken while trying to take the back of the watch plate off Before I could ask Javier about next steps regarding the issue, he immediately got defensive, his tone was rude, and his voice began to get loud He said that I would need to "send it to Diesel to get it fixed, and there was nothing he could do" He continued by saying that I did not know what I was talking about and that since it's such a "big issue" that he would pay for it out of his pocket I told Javier that I wasn't asking "him" to pay for anything, as I was able and capable of paying for it on my own Javier replied with this egregious remark under his breath saying, "Probably not because you are poor" This remark immediately sent me into an instant rage Prior to this remark, I had been very diplomatic in my approach regarding the issue; but Javier crossed the line with this statement He then quickly tried to recant his statement by saying that "he didn't say it" and "he didn't have time for this" I told him, I know what I heard and I would not lie about such a vile comment Javier then proceeded to place my receipt on the counter to sign and tossed the pen on the table, which I found to be highly disrespectfulI signed the receipt and pushed at him and I told him that he was very rude, his statement was racist in my opinion, and that I simply wanted answers as to how Fast-Fix would remedy the issue of my broken watch; he continued to cut me off and talked over me He and I exchanged a few unpleasantries and my friend (MrWilliams) came inside after hearing loud voices MrWilliams spoke with Javier to gather more facts surrounding the situation while I went to cool off I walked to speak with Mall Security and explained what happenedHe asked if I would like to come to his office and file a complaint and I said yes He even suggested another watch repair shop in the mall that did great After completing the paperwork I left the mall, angry and disheartened about what happened I am extremely appalled and disappointed with the lack of professionalism and quality of work provided by the associates of Fast-Fix Jewelry and Watch RepairsAs a patron of this establishment, I believe I had the right to state my claim and/or issues without being publicly humiliated and have semi-racist slurs communicated to me This could have been avoided if the sales associates (Javier ) would have simply listened to me and help me solve my "broken watch" issue Please advice as to how we can move forward as I would like to have my watch repaired or replaced I will be sharing this complaint with the Revdex.com, Yelp and on my social media platform to ensure no one has to deal with this type of unprofessionalism at this Fast-Fix location

Store used classic bait-and-switch tacticsI had gone into the store to get a clasp on a bracelet fixed and the manager, Javier, fixed it at no cost getting me to trust himHe then turned his attention to the Rolex Submariner watch I was wearing and asked me when I last had it servicedWhen I said ?probably never.? he told me that I should have it overhauled immediately because if I didn't and a spring were to break, it would cost me $3,to repairAfter using this scare tactic, he further convinced me to do this overhaul by stating his store only charged $for the service when Rolex would charge me times as muchWhen I mentioned I had a vintage Tag Heuer Chronograph in the car that was not working, Javier told me that the Tag would also need an overhaul which would also cost $but if I had both watches overhauled at the same time, he could discount the price to $for a savings of $ I gave Javier the watches and he charged $to my Discover Card When I pi

On Saturday, May 12, 2018, I had a very unpleasant customer experience at the Westfield Mall Culver City store location The lack of optimum customer service began after I came to pick up my 2-watches (Fossel and Diesel) I had dropped off to have the batteries replaced
I walked in and gave the store associate (Javier) my claim ticket for my watches He placed them on the table and I handed him my credit card He walked to the computer to process my payment leaving me with my watches
I noticed that neither of my watches had the correct time, so I grabbed my Diesel watch to set the correct time and when I pulled the crown to set the time, it completely came off I was puzzled as to why this happened so I asked Javier to come over so I can show him He grabbed the watched and used a magnifying device to get a closer look He told me that it must be rust that caused the piece to come off
I explained that this never happened before and that I haven't worn either watch in months, so I was confused as to how "rust" could have seemingly cause the crown to fall offI added that my watch was perfectly fine when I brought in prior to the repair I showed his that the piece on the rear of the crown was bent and it should be straight, further proving that it was probably broken while trying to take the back of the watch plate off
Before I could ask Javier about next steps regarding the issue, he immediately got defensive, his tone was rude, and his voice began to get loud He said that I would need to "send it to Diesel to get it fixed, and there was nothing he could do" He continued by saying that I did not know what I was talking about and that since it's such a "big issue" that he would pay for it out of his pocket
I told Javier that I wasn't asking "him" to pay for anything, as I was able and capable of paying for it on my own Javier replied with this egregious remark under his breath saying, "Probably not because you are poor" This remark immediately sent me into an instant rage Prior to this remark, I had been very diplomatic in my approach regarding the issue; but Javier crossed the line with this statement He then quickly tried to recant his statement by saying that "he didn't say it" and "he didn't have time for this" I told him, I know what I heard and I would not lie about such a vile comment
Javier then proceeded to place my receipt on the counter to sign and tossed the pen on the table, which I found to be highly disrespectfulI signed the receipt and pushed at him and I told him that he was very rude, his statement was racist in my opinion, and that I simply wanted answers as to how Fast-Fix would remedy the issue of my broken watch; he continued to cut me off and talked over me
He and I exchanged a few unpleasantries and my friend (MrWilliams) came inside after hearing loud voices MrWilliams spoke with Javier to gather more facts surrounding the situation while I went to cool off I walked to speak with Mall Security and explained what happenedHe asked if I would like to come to his office and file a complaint and I said yes He even suggested another watch repair shop in the mall that did great After completing the paperwork I left the mall, angry and disheartened about what happened
