Yes we did have the customer in our location, we told him the price, and as we always do after we explain to our customers that we dont do simple replace of battery we do a complete service on the watch not just a simple battery replace we clean the the contacts inspection and lubrication of the seals premium battery replace and we also give to customer one full year of warranty on the batteryAfter we explain this we proceed to make a ticket to do the job where the customer give their authorization to do the job for themSo in this case [redacted] allows us to do the battery for$so we assumed that he understood everything the we explain to sing the ticketMost of the cases we dont give our prices according to the value but according to labor hand in this case to open and and close the watch or the type of battery that the watch-needsDays later his mom call us saying that his son was a disable adult (this was soothing surprising for us ) and that she is her guardianship but she wasn't never here at the time that [redacted] Hunter Levi came to our store to replace the battery so we could also explain the price to hereanyway we tried to made an agreement to here telling her that we can give some store credit since our store policy only allows to do thatBut she din't agree to that.I'm sending a copy of the ticket sing by the customer and a copy of the receipt, hoping that you can help usThank you for your understanding! I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The business is not truthful in their response.  The verbal quote given to my son prior to the work was $24.00.  My son called and asked my permission since that was far greater than any other battery replacement we've had in the past.  He is on a budget.  He asked only for a battery replacement. He was never told of a cleaning or any additional service to be performed.  Actually when I called, they said the reason for the additional cost was, it was an expensive battery, NOT cleaning and servicing the watch.  That is a new story made up story. This is a very inexpensive  watch. The charge was $39.00 plus tax when he picked it up, far greater than the estimate.  The business made him sign a receipt.  When I called, I told the business I was 2 hours away, but they offered me a store credit if I came in.  That is not a serious way to resolve the problem.  In good faith they should have credited him back the difference. They lied about the price, gave a service they were not asked to do, and took advantage of a disabled person.  The store credit offer to someone who couldn't get there was similar to how they treated and cheated their customer.
